I've done some research specifically for this post; here is what I came up with. IT'S FREAKING HARD! I completely understand your anger towards this, but it seriously is near impossible to do. I have 1,200 health and after about 5 attempts at this I simply couldn't do it. It wasn't my fault I failed, I kept my distance, I bolased as soon as possible, I equipped full frozen, heck, I even called a level 151 mage (Marshill) and a 125 druid. Even with Marsh and the druid there we ended up with two deaths. I also came across one of my buddies, a lvl 152 ranger, trying to solo Lazarath; it only took one missed bolas for him to die.

I personally have only succeed one time out of many tries

Personally I don't think rangers are over powered, I feel other classes are under powered. Rangers are really the only class that can solo lv in the OW at lv 120+ without having to use pots or sit and wait for health and or energy to regen.
However yes as the original post says, it kind of is unbalanced that rangers can solo these bosses and other classes can't. However there also is the fact that anyone can make and play any class- if you are jealous of a ranger soloing, then why not just make one yourself? As others stated, it really is just a matter of getting lucky with your bolas landing or not. I can usually solo any of these bosses except thossos and all the OW ones because they evade bolas too much.

I don't get the big deal about bolas, other classes like Druids and warriors have shield bash and the druid skill (sorry just tired cant think of skill), just deal with it.

I agree with that. OW is a plat fest when leveling.

And given you can solo wyverns pretty easily............

I said it once and I'll say it again,
A ranger with 236 hp should not ever be able to solo any of the new OW quest mobs, yet they can.

Bolas cool down time nerfed to 30-35 seconds.

I can't wait to watch all you cry once your no damage solo builds get taken away.

Soloing these guys isn't as easy as you would think. If I miss even a single bolas or just let them get to close, I'm instantly dead. Sure it is possible for us to solo these guys, but they are NOT pushovers. Most of the time people forget to factor in the fact that we also have to avoid running too close to mobs and that makes bolasing these guys very difficult, because most of them are in a field of monsters. All in all I simply end up asking my friends for help because I don't want to waste idols or pots trying to kill them.

Then imagine a ranger with a camo...

Yeah i believe that rangers are OP

To put the post back on target I simply think that chilling grasp should be slighhtly longer ranged, he still shouldnt be able to shoot you across a kelpie pond but long enoughto get some of the ranged attackers. I have seen rangers, tanks, druids, and mages, and some extreme rogues solo bosses but I am fine as a level 105 rogue to bring friends to a boss. Bosses arent ment to be soloed unless they are place holders. I cant even solo enteron yet but thats ok, its part of the class and you can either have a whole lot of damage or a whole lot of health.

Nah, much easier and sustainable to tweak bolas. Not all things attack long ranged. Rangers should be hit by melee more often.
