this brings up the topic of a better announcement system... we should have a a bulletin board in the caslte where ONLY admins can post- not all the players.
This would be a good spot for announcements, terms and conditions, up-and-coming content/events, and links for things like this.
I love this idea! I dont see alot of games I play that would have this kind of announcement system. And yes make it an easy way for players to get notified about up-coming events!

I also agree that this is a great idea! Not everyone knows about the forum or has the time to sieve through its contents for information about updates etc. An in-game bulletin board would be perfect!
