That's like 20m on most worlds. Carpets and sleds 600k-1m for top tier, dragonstaffs 600k, skimmer 1.2m. Unless those are broom of dooms I'm pretty disappointed in your mount collection lol
All of them are top tier(brooms of dooms, avalanche sleds, sultans carpets etc)

Old mounts are worth quite a bit on lugh, a simple 5% sled can fetch around 300k.
So outside of lugh, your virtual wealth would be greatly diminished. And I so don't understand how or why a 5% sled would go for around 300k.

If it wasn't lugh I'd just have different rare items.

World price differences mean nothing, if you sell something in your world then you have that gold and can do what you want with it. It doesn't matter what the prices of other worlds are as there is no way items/gold can go between worlds, you can only exchange items/gold with another person world to world(which we call transfers). Your 1m is worth 1m everywhere pretty much.

You could ask why a 5% sled is 300k, or ask why fashion is hundreds of thousands to millions with no stats.

It was aimed at the notion that someone spending more time playing a game vs actually going to a job in real life to buy plat is somehow less work at making gold in the game.

Plat doesn't prove game skill. That's my point.

Anywho, for the op. My record was 20m in gold, not near that now though. I mainly carry my value in items rather then gold.

For fun here is a pic of my top tier mount collection. Worth at least 80m, but 200m+ wouldn't be out of the question.
Buying things for cheaper than you sell them for doesn't require skill. And collecting rare items isn't a skill either. It requires patience and time to hang out in the game.

Now if you told me that you had started with a few stocks in real life and had amassed a lot of real wealth or a powerful portfolio then that would be different.
Stocks are the key to success in life!!!! Back to what zyz and fury were talking about.... I take a moderate position I believe BOTH are viable ways to get gold. Whether it be through merching, farming, bossing, gambling, buying plat etc. trading in game does take awhile to get used to and be profitable Ik this for a fact as I have been very good at this ingame and there r trades which I lose (yes des does lose but not to much) and at the beginning I lost a crap ton but I learned and refined my skills. When buying plat u r using skills in rl and otm greatly appreciates players using there services in rl to get their money and buy gold. They are using skills and yielding gold as a result both r ways to get money and viable ways which ever one you want to do is of no concern to the other person :)

In my eyes none of those are worth anything, now if you drop all of everything and keep one of each then you are officially rich if you are the only one with those items.

Neither does merching. Game skill is effectively playing your class.

You realize that with 28 items shown there you are valuing each item at nearly 3m a piece AT A MINIMUM. You wouldn't get anywhere near 3m for anything besides a divine broom in that pile. 200m+...

Then explain why there's still a lot of people who think you need plat to be endgame.

I know what I said, and I'm not wrong. I hold most of the worlds brooms of doom, avalanche sleds, sultans carpets, thunderstorm clouds, diabolic fellspines, and nightfliers. I also have the divine ice broom, which is extremely rare on our world. This is what I 100% KNOW I can get, at the MINIMUM.

Brooms of doom 5m ea(2) 10
Avalanche sleds 3m ea(6) 28
Sultans carpets 2m ea(6) 40
Divine brooms 5m ea(2) 50
Thunderstorm clouds 5m ea(2) 60
Celestial dragonstaves 2m ea(3) 66
Diabolic fellspines 2m ea(2) 70
Arctic stormskimmers 2m ea(3) 76
Nightfliers 2m ea(2) 80

Which adds up to a minimum of 80m. Knowing that on double plat people have a lot more gold(and are more willing to spend it) and that I am a very good merchant, I could surely get 200+, if I waited.
