Yes I play ch. I have a dl level mage and a lock rogue;
I have spoken enough to our tank to know dl shield sucks. Our tank has tanked gele once and prot tons of times, so I respect her opinion.

If you're in res I know you're going to say something about her, let's keep it in game and off forum please

DL shield is better than lux shield. almost near resists for elemental damage, and then it has chaos resist. Also you need dl shield for edl shield.
And i won't, we kicked her and as to why, well thats between the leaders of res and her. Not my job nor place to name and shame on forums.

I will however, respond to how you assume my clan would name and shame... Res policy is to not conduct such behavior, and as of late the clan has been able to keep that image clean... If you have a problem with a res clanny talk to our chief, don't take to the forums.

The problem with DL shied is it gives almost the same resists and armor as lux shield, but lacks the health. IMO the health vs chaos resistance ratio is in favor of the lux

Ya, its a free equivalent to a lux shield .-. and it allows you to get edl shield, which is better than the lux shield.

EDL shield = 200 divine damage ftw!!!!!

There is no buff or resist to dispute that.

My post is for those who say timers shouldn't be shorter because it will decrease competition.

This is completely false from a server in heavy competition if all bosses were like prot, everyone would so much free times on their hands instead of having to camp multiple bosses some of our campers don't dual log so they camp on their 1 device until a boss is due or up. Our server has that clan up times and down times where both clans share different times when each other are active, however this allows for our main dps groups to be prepared for the next prot in a good matter enough to go for locks. Both clans are fully capable of killing all bosses, there are times where we have a advantage and there is times where the other clan has a advantage via time zones. On our server sreng/snorri are camped almost 24/7(small margin where both clans are completely off)

I enjoy the competition on bosses what I don't like is so many random variables controlling our everyday ch life. There is days where there is a small amount of free time between bosses and others where everyone is needed to camp raids and edl/Dl bosses.

I say we decrease the windows and just put it back to the 46-48 hour respawn for raids however used to be as long as the window is decreased significantly where clans don't have to spend 2 days at 1 spot forcing some to level new toons so they can have 1 parked at a raid and another for smaller bosses

Can we all take a moment to see how far this thread has gotten from the start
went from crafting all the way to whether or not dl shield was a decent offhand all the way to answering another thread about timer reductions.
