Re: Which clan will kill BT next?

Leaving one or both roots isn’t an effective strategy anymore, unless u want a gele xtal constantly healing BT. Killing them both is the answer, we just gotta find the right way of doing it. Also t8 offhands are must.

But wut if we leave caustic root up, u only lose shadowstrike dmg, and druid dmg (i think thats all), and t4 aoe doesnt do anything to dps. So if we can bash his siphon heal (given there even is a skill we can bash :o )
We can offtank one with a druid and just not use certain dps, canceling the ability to siphon hp from root.

Theres alot of what ifs :D
Edit: theres also alot we dont know lol

Agreed and this is easy if you have 70 to 80 at the raid. With lesser number, u will need t8 offhands for faster kill of the roots and BT.

Bashing roots is useless as far as i know, just like thrones, BT is the mob triggering the healing, that means IF the healing is interruptable, it will have to be by bashing BT him self. Do u know if a text appears when BT heals from roots? Have u tried bashing then?
Also t4 poison root is not an aoe dmg, its a an additional poison cloak thatbit adds to BT and south vines (or did they change it?)

Yes ive tried bashing multiple times, except near the end the acid pools are hard to avoid and without losing all my druids heal by moving to another pod, i cant bash by standing at a corner.

Edit: we also only had one root be siphoned from once at the very end at a .01% raid and i wasnt too focused on it at the time. And couldnt see any skills being casted so was very difficult to find especially since roots are almost always downed immediately

70-80 is a way but it’s definitely not the right way. It’s basically overkilling. Just like getting 40 190 toons on hrung instead 15 with a tank bashing at feast, or out dpsing prots healing etc... atm the strategy is get t8 and kos everything, unless someone finds anything new that might be what OTM have in mind, unfortunately.

I thought acid pools aren’t that bad for MT. Welp that sucks lol.

I don’t think offtanking will be of any use now especially since I doubt one tank is staying alive with t4+ aoe dot damage, it was a great idea when we could reset the roots, last kill we had we pushed through heal of 2 roots with the last like 2-3% but i don’t think it would go well keeping one up permanently now

It’s very easy to notice heals. If u get a tank right now with 3 druids and tank BT for couple seconds u will notice it heals for 50k. The thing is I don’t know if it’s 50k per (so 2 roots will be doing 50k each) or is it 25k per root but combines into one burst healing of 50k if 2 roots are up.
