Brooms of doom 5m ea(2) 10
Avalanche sleds 3m ea(6) 28
Sultans carpets 2m ea(6) 40
Divine brooms 5m ea(2) 50
Thunderstorm clouds 5m ea(2) 60
Celestial dragonstaves 2m ea(3) 66
Diabolic fellspines 2m ea(2) 70
Arctic stormskimmers 2m ea(3) 76
Nightfliers 2m ea(2) 80

Which adds up to a minimum of 80m. Knowing that on double plat people have a lot more gold(and are more willing to spend it) and that I am a very good merchant, I could surely get 200+, if I waited.
good luck ever finding someone to buy even half of your items

Plat doesn't prove game skill. That's my point.
Neither does merching. Game skill is effectively playing your class.
Then explain why there's still a lot of people who think you need plat to be endgame.
You realize that with 28 items shown there you are valuing each item at nearly 3m a piece AT A MINIMUM. You wouldn't get anywhere near 3m for anything besides a divine broom in that pile. 200m+...
I know what I said, and I'm not wrong. I hold most of the worlds brooms of doom, avalanche sleds, sultans carpets, thunderstorm clouds, diabolic fellspines, and nightfliers. I also have the divine ice broom, which is extremely rare on our world. This is what I 100% KNOW I can get, at the MINIMUM.

Who in the right state of mind will pay 3m for a 60% speed mount? You can get a 90% speed mount for less than 1m easily. All of your places are inflated.

I believe the most I have ever had in pure gold was 4.2m... That was after I sold 100 chests and a few other things that I had... It lasted a solid 20 minutes as I bought sigils and 200 gear for my rogue and 190 lux for my Mage.
I usually don't buy plat as I refuse to put hard earned money into in app purchases. But over my 2 years in this game I have gotten some iTunes apples for birthday and holidays... I have probably put a total of $225 in this game in 2 years... Like I said I refuse to put MY MONEY into a game... Other people's money I have no issue with lol

Don't plan on selling them, I'm a collector before a merchant. But I've had offers on each mount in the past, older mounts especially are easy to sell(especially since supply is so low)

Brooms of doom are 50%, but it's not about the speed. It's the rarity and look people like. There's alota people who just want a generic fast mount to go around, I'll give you that, but there's 2 major groups who like rare mounts. Those who like stylish stuff(fash collectors and rich people), and those who like old items. A dual market like that has a pretty good amount of potential customers, and the worth goes up even more if the item is severely limited in supply(which most old mounts are).

I completely understand wanting to buy older fashion as quite a bit of it looks so much better than the later fashions (hunter, frostguard, lanrik, glen vs wyld and all the newer fashion that looks terrible). Well, I'm kind of weird I guess as I don't like hunter tops and I like lanrik tops but don't like them with the lanrik pants but with glen pants more and don't like the glen tops. Then again, I've never cared about sets and just buy the pieces I like. But I digress. With fashion it's wearable at any time. But with a slow mount, when do you show this off if you try to stay out of the castle as much as possible and your point in having a mount is to get from point A to point B as fast as possible.

I guess I just don't have a collectors mindset when it comes to virtual items. I had a collection of guitars at one point and I keep a collection of photos taken each year from the high school soccer team I coach. But this seems totally different than having a collection of mounts. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I look at a mount and pay for speed. You tell me a mil or more for something that does 50 speed and I'm laughing.

Some of the older mounts are useful, for different purposes.

Brooms of doom(55 crush 150 hp/mp 50 armor lv1), thunderstorm clouds(1k aoe proc lv50), arctic storm skimmers(good regen/freeze) and night flyers(good armor/resists+instacast freeze) are good combat mounts.

Divine brooms(50% camo), and diabolic fell spines(15 sec 100% camo skill) are good for travel.

Avalanche sleds, sultans carpets, and divine brooms are all great for training novelty(2500 attack speed).

Mainly here is the way I look at it, I could buy a generic 100/50 stick mount at any time(they are in every event), but these older mounts are unique, and are rarely sold, I would rather buy these as I may not have the chance to again.

The majority of end gamers have no use for novelty, pretty much nobody uses unless you're a castle dweller.
