Agreed and this is easy if you have 70 to 80 at the raid. With lesser number, u will need t8 offhands for faster kill of the roots and BT.

70-80 is a way but it’s definitely not the right way. It’s basically overkilling. Just like getting 40 190 toons on hrung instead 15 with a tank bashing at feast, or out dpsing prots healing etc... atm the strategy is get t8 and kos everything, unless someone finds anything new that might be what OTM have in mind, unfortunately.

70 to 80 is ridiculous because you are taking so many people out of their productive real life to kill a virtual plant. And most likely the raid could only be organised on weekends which means real life relationships might be affected like you have to cancel all your weekend dates. Games are meant to provide leisure and not inflict agony. If we can kill with 40 after getting t8 offhand, it will be good. Yet to be seen if that is possible, will have to wait a couple more weeks.

I don’t think offtanking will be of any use now especially since I doubt one tank is staying alive with t4+ aoe dot damage, it was a great idea when we could reset the roots, last kill we had we pushed through heal of 2 roots with the last like 2-3% but i don’t think it would go well keeping one up permanently now

Caustic root doesnt have a aoe dmg thingy i believe, just resist i thought? Correct if wrong pls

Oh maybe so, similar to salveroot. The heal can be dpsed out considering 60-70 toons depending on server of course

But wut if we leave caustic root up, u only lose shadowstrike dmg, and druid dmg (i think thats all), and t4 aoe doesnt do anything to dps. So if we can bash his siphon heal (given there even is a skill we can bash )
We can offtank one with a druid and just not use certain dps, canceling the ability to siphon hp from root.

Theres alot of what ifs

Even if bash doesn’t work on roots, could we out dps the roots heal to bloodthorn? I feel like the roots probably don’t heal him much

Regardless of the strategy it is still a dps fest. If u want to leave a root up and try to outdps it’s heals you’d easily still need 60-80 players. I suggested force spawning certain roots and offtanking them to cause a minimal amount of damage/debuff to dps. But the problem in that lies in healing. If in fact the heal is something u can interrupt we could easily have tanks bashing bt when it tries to siphon the heal. That all depends on if the heal is a skill casted by bt or just a permanent buff to the raid itself.
