rangers arnt op they just have skills to use good tactics. plus if ur a warrior dps it isnt all that hard seeing as i am a hybrid built for bashing and dealing dammage in that short period of time ill let the mob grasp me twice then i bash him and just anialate him dps wise if ur a straight dps warrior just group with another dps to help u out that what i do and it always works out

This thread was started with absolutely no intention of nerfing rangers in any way at all.
All I wanted was for ONLY the new armour bosses to ba able to freeze you.
IF a 142 warrior grouped with a pure healing 105 druid can't come close to winning then neither should a ranger.
I personally don't care if it is HARD, it should NOT be even close to possible.
That is all.

There is another thread about nerfing rangers, please use that thread to debate why you shouldn't be nerfed.

That's your problem Donko. I've talked to a couple well trained Druids and even one that soloes ow armor bosses. If you want to solo them with tank and Druid you have to have ward of fire and shield of bark and it's best to also have abundance. You can't solely rely on 'pure heals' to win. If a Druid can laughingly tell me he uses roots and solos....lol....you may just be doing something wrong.

Maxed touch, group heal, embrace and bark.

Your friend is obviously a dps druid, fights from a distance and solos. So now we can add druids to rangers in this discussion.

That is the issue at hand, freeze doesn't work at a distance when it should.

What I don't get is why my tank and ranger can beat these mobs and your tank and Druid can't. Using ranger as pure healer with all healing gear on and tanking the mobs toe to toe with warrior I have no problem with them , so how is it possible you can't do the same with a tank and Druid ? My tank is 142 as well and my ranger heals 1080 when heal gear is equipped.

Because your ranger is doing all the damage. While your warrior is consistently frozen in place.
Rangers on their own can avoid being frozen very often.

Well now freeze does work at a distance. Maybe not quite as far as bolas but damn close.

I'm not sure how freeze works but better add mages to the list too just in case a single Mage on a single server figures it out...

A full heal ranger does next to no damage. A tank with minimal strength could probably out dps a full heal based ranger with ease. But if you want to try shooting everyone down instead of figuring out how you're doing it wrong and then doing it right that's your choice.

Where did I say nerf rangers? I was talking about boosting the bosses. That doesn't change how bolas works, bolas is fine imo, however the reason these bosses are fun and a challenge is this new freeze spam fest they do, and the range isn't far enough to hit rangers making them have a lot more boring game play. I am trying to help you out so you won't be so bored and have to read forums and incorrectly read people's posts and reply to them idiotically. Rangers have too much free time because of these bosses which is why they are all here misreading and misquoting things.

Save the rangers, make the bosses freeze work properly! Their sanity depends on it!

The problems is the range of frozen, fireballs usually the boss will not fireball/freezer a player outiside his range .

And the issue is the warriors are the slowest hitters on game , is not the rangers can solo is just warriors can hit fats enough to kill.
