Haha, I know a forum which has always been like this. I mean, this forum always had those new rules we just got now.
And nobody was happy in it. Nobody ever "got use to it". There were many arguments about the liberty.

Now there is a lot of hate inside. So, think about it...

I agree with all the rules except the one about not exposing scammers.
I have no desire to attack a scammer.
I dont want revenge or to make him/her feel bad.
All I want to do is protect my friends.
If there is some guy in my neighborhood who stole my wallet...
and I know I cant get it back
I'm going to tell my neighbors to be careful. Not so they can attack him, but so they can keep their own wallets.
I would agree with just reporting scammers to support, if they actually did anything. I have never seen a repeat scammer banned. Idk if it happens or not, but from what I've seen, they seem to just keep on scamming.
Also, I have a minor bone to pick...
I know buying/selling accounts is against the rules.
But it happens EVERY day. publicly.
soooo often in OW i see people shouting "selling my account"
and nothing ever happens. I've seen sooo many accounts change hands, with no retribution whatsoever.
Then, a while back, skullcrusher quit. He gave the clan banks to one of us, so stuff could still be passed out. So of course support banned that account. :| Countless real characters are traded each day and not punished, but when a clan bank is passed down, it gets banned. Cmon. really? The stuff in that bank did not belong to skullcrusher, it belonged to our clan. And when he tried to give it to us, suddenly the rules need to be enforced.

You left out the part where he gave his toonS to another player, not just the bank . I agree though the bank shouldn't be banned .

I've suggested the simple fix before , the no trading characters rule should not apply to toons level 10 or below .

Yeah I dont care about his toons. Thats against the rules, and totally fair that they were banned. Although it still seems unfair... Tons of toons are sold each day, and noone cares. Then skullcrusher, who happens to be a not-so-popular guy, sells his, and is instantly banned. Sounds to me like if enough people have a personal vendetta against you, you get in trouble for breaking the rules. If people like you, you can get away with anything.

People need to report any player who they see offering to sell their account using the in-game support tool. The Support Team can then investigate and take the necessary action.

We require the help of the community to help us tackle people who are selling their accounts. Only by working together can we stop people from selling their accounts.

I agree completely. He broke the rules and was punished. great. I'm just saying I think he was punished for the wrong reasons. (and I still think we should get to keep the banks that rightfully belong to us... any chance of those being restored?)

In the future trade bank items to a new account, sucks for now.

Send a support ticket and have all the ex golgs do the same , I hope you get your bank back , you guys played hard for it .

Great news! Community just informed me that based on the new forum rules, people admitting to breaking game rules on the forum are in breach of the forum rules by making posts that knowingly aggravate other players.
