It's the sticky this thread deserves, but not the one it needs right now. For a while now, this index has been floating on page 1 of general discussion anyway due to the new data coming in.

But yes, eventually a sticky would be nice.

The auto attack formula isn't working for me.
600 Strength 1800 abiity 92 physical damage 190 elemental damage it says 19k damage

600 Strength 1800 abiity 92 physical damage 190 elemental damage it says 19k damage

This is the formula:
Auto Attack Damage = [0.15818*sqrt(Strength) + 0.061069*sqrt(Weapon Ability) + 0.96523] * Physical Damage + Elemental Damage

You did this:
Auto Attack Damage = [0.15818*(600) + 0.061069*(1800) + 0.96523] * 92 + 180 = 19123 <-- (Not correct damage)

But you should have done this instead:
Auto Attack Damage = [0.15818*sqrt(600) + 0.061069*sqrt(1800) + 0.96523] * 92 + 180 = 874 <-- (Correct damage)

Don't forget the square roots!

Lightning Strike
Focus: 1305, Abil: 3430, Dmg: 4199
Focus: 680, Abil: 3430, Dmg: 3460
Focus: 1305, Abil: 2680, Dmg: 4058

Howling Wind
Focus: 1545, Abil:3430, Attack Drop: -2833
Focus: 380, Abil: 3430, Attack Drop: -2076

Level 50 Howling Wind Attack Reduction = 38.207*sqrt(Focus) + 10.886*sqrt(Nature Magic) + 693.63

Level 50 Lightning Strike Damage = 73.547*sqrt(Focus) + 20.743*sqrt(Nature Magic) + 327.29

Lightning strike, fire bolt, and quick strike all have very similar formulas. Of course, they deal different types of damage and have different cast times/cool downs.

I wonder if sharp shot and pummel also have similar formulas.

Just a very small detail: could you make the skill calculator round off to whole numbers (for the final result)? It's easier to look at that way.

And it would be awesome if you could make a separate auto attack damage calculator too. Though you don't have to.

Thanks for the feedback! I made the numbers round to the nearest whole number, added the auto attack damage calculator to the bottom of the page, and changed some formatting so that it looks a little nicer.
