And mysteryman I prefer being an active trader I have made a ton of gold and have outpaced people holding fashion and other items as long term investments. Yes their great to hold as they grow on their own but I prefer an active approach
i am active, but hold onto items that i deem will increase in value indefinitely. It's important like you say to keep buying and selling and not just sitting. good point! :)

+1 to this I still have thirty thousand ancient idols. I'll probably sell when the value hits 30m. I bought em for 50-100g each and if they don't go past 500g ea (about where it is now) ill just use em for tanking.

If you only have items for long term growth you don't have a balanced portfolio. A good merchant has a mix of both day trading items, medium and long term ones.

I seldom have huge amounts of gold but if you counted up everything i own (doubly so sigils) it's in the 100s of millions.

I'm glad you guys are both active traders :D the only item I have been holding for a long time is my mythic phenoix glider as I'm the only active one on server with it. Otherwise everything else I have pretty much sold lol. On ios (I have been on their was on thier first before moving to droid) the stuff is way more easier to trade and you can make gold much faster. On droid I really gotta work for those trades lolol but still it's so much fun and lucrative.

its a role playn game, everyone can choose hes role
but stop spamming all maps
bc of that my shouts are permanently off and castle is place to avoid
wish bounty board locations are somewhere else
An auction house would do wonders to cut that down to a manageable level. It would benefit those who never even plan on using it.
