I see your point but I would go into a casino knowing that I was unlikely to come out with anything. House always wins and all that. Call me a green noob but I feel like the rarity isn't made clear. I know it says jackpot so maybe some associate it with getting the 2 mill gold in Aeon chests but I saw two people on my server with the dragon so I think the drop rate is better than the 2 mill gold (going by the many thousands of chests I've opened and never got 2 mill gold).It's not a scam. It's a gamble. That's like going to Vegas and saying you got scammed because you didn't win any money.I think the pet will increase plat sales in the short term until people realize what a MASSIVE con the chest is.
Over 500 chests opened between my husband and my accs and no egg. Not even just no egg but utter trash in the chests. At least with Aeon chests u get chance of nice fash of mount.
So some people might say oh I got $100 birthday money I'll splash out on chests. For $100 they'll get a bunch of crappy fash tokens and consumables.
This pet won't widen the gap between plat and non plat buyers as it is so super rare. What it will do is stop plat buyers buying plat when they realize they got scammed. The drop rate is very short sighted.
Anyway I'll stop crying now and suck it up, i just wanted to put my experience out there for anyone who was considering opening these chests. A nice steak (yes ribeye dammit) and a beer will certainly ease the pain
