If you're getting ksed by one rogue you should all log so he dies... Otherwise I think a percent lock will be fine. First hit I don't agree with because there will be no comp anymore. As is with a percent lock, all the bosses are going to e camped 24/7 by large clans and small clans will get fewer kills than before
We were all shocked it happened. He never got agro so we didn't worry about it. I mean its only ventus so no big loss but the fact it happened is rediculous.

So if 100% target lock was in game and first hit claimed mob , would it be fair to others that your group would hold fal for a couple hours to kill him ?

This idea that instituting a lock because you couldn't kill a mob over your head with like 2000 hp is insane to me .

Sure there are good examples of why some type of lock is needed but this is not one of them .

Should be a lock and like a damage barrier :
First hit locks it onto you (your group gets 50% more aggro and a little sign above your heads maybe a skull to show you locked it)
Others can attack and do damage to it
if you lock a mob and another comes up and hits 70% of the damage on it then it locks onto them so there is some damage comp and then some pure tank or low lvl noobs cant lock a mob and hold it for hours

Your proposal would prevent the underpowerd group from forever locking a mob. It would also address the similar but better group taking a boss away but that wont stop the level 150 from ksing a 50. Will it stop a rogue from ksing a same level druid? I dont think so.
