For my own part I hope that whatever they do does not mess up the support Mage. They are incredible. By far the most powerful class in the game for me so far. Amazing.

+1 question comes down to how many mages and how much money they represent in lost income if they leave. The answer to that will determine OTMs desire to fix the class.

One of the huge draws to this game for me was that it is mobile.

I agree with you. I don't want to leave, but there are other MMORPGs for iDevices.

I agree. I'm not on a fast track outa here. I'd like to think maybe they can incorporate at least a portion of our quibbles into the soon to be update.

Here's to hoping our lowly Mage gets the dignity he deserves.

Okay let me teach you first one gamers. In every MMO there are support, tank and dps. Mages usually fall under dps or support. Most of the time support. It's what's most beneficial to a clan. And obviously warriors are ment to tank. But they are not a dps class. I understand some warriors are good at it. Hell a warrior with 2 godly damage charms radiant dps gear and ice offhand is pretty good. But all for all they still can outhit a dps rouge. They might get lucky and outhit a rouge. Like I'll admit I've been outhit by a warrior. But he had 2 godlys full dps rad gear ice offhand bloodlust helm and damage rings. He outhit me on a few wyverns while lvling but he also had cloak and lures on his side. I'm not saying they can't be because they can. I had a dps warrior back in the day when top lvl was in the low 90s. I hit 90 and got bored and made a rouge. And he was stronger at dps. And I agree with whoever that was that said they need to be nuke. A lvl 150 mages ice shards should hit 4k easy. It would make it fair. I'd love that. But with this update they are mostly a support class. That's just how it is. I hope admin actually reads this and changes mages a little to make this game more balanced. Like warriors not hit as hard because it's crap when I full vit warrior can outhit rangers and rouges sometimes. I say the most balanced class is rangers. Good damage and good heals. Everyone got kinda nerfed but warriors and rangers. I was pissed when routes damage got nerfed and quickstrike wasn't as good now. But anyways, mages are mostly ment for support with this update.

I've played MMO's before they were even called that.

I've played Neverwinter Nights on AOL in 1986. And I've played Ultima Online for a year when it came out. And almost every RPG since the D&D gold box series on my good ol Commodore 64 ending with the current Skyrim.

I've never seen Mages so bad compared to the other classes.

Raistlin Majere was no support Mage! The best example of a Mage is Gandalf single handedly staring down the Balrog while everyone escaped (cough cough RAN).

One Thumb has 40+ years of RPG experience to draw from starting with Dungeons And Dragons 1st Edition.

Maybe they can look at Bioware as an example before they screwed up Dragon Age 2.

Fix the damn Mage!
