I hust read through the entire thread and Landoril has made the most sense to me. I use idols while training because one idol gives me 4K hp verses 1K from a restore pot.
And you still could, none of my suggestions other than romoval impact leveling, this is about bossing with target lock

I told you , you are speculating about target lock they can make a wipe as every single death reset the group lock , meaning they put a indicator a greenligth while x char still holding aggro and turns reds when he dies and like that all others in group so if each player dies once the lock reset .

So if 8 ligths in full group turn red they loose the lock.

Thats the job of the beta tester to find a way to keep it balance , i will go with original group by individuals if you died one time each 1 will weakend the lock and finnally break the lock .

So the first player to hit a message will said name has gain a seal over x boss. So all original players at beggining get a lock piece. And each time a players died
Are message like the lock has weaken
And when all original group players died 1 time afinal message the name seal has broken. And inthe counter the next player who hit after original group x name groups has gain the seal

Give that I sell all plat items to clan members, 90‰ of them are exilars, 7% restos and 3% idols.
Now I know your clan uses a lot more idols than ours, but given that figure, otn would lose 3% of their revenue and going by their past decisions, if they though it would make the game better as a whole, they would take them away without hesitation.
So donk your the sugar daddy.....lol its meant as a joke ( i know in text it gets misread )

Haha, I've not heard sugar daddy in ages, I am a bit to young to be a sugar daddy, maybe when I hit 50 I will get a nice young lady and shower her in gifts :-)
But tbh my wife is a good healthy 7 years younger than me, so I'm not doing bad.

I never miss judge you laws, that's why we can still enjoy a good chat in game.

When I'm gone, who knows, I don't completely fund prime personally, but like most/all plat buyers, I like making money (in game) and the best way is your plat items.
I have enough gold stocked now for the update and so my plat is to try and get my ranger and druid to at least 140 before the update, ready for the next round of challenges.

I will admit though, I never use credit apples unless I am buying something expensive dur to the extra protection they give on purchases or companies that go bad.
I would only ever use spare cash to pay for day to day things, a CC to buy plat would be silly and irresponsible.

Fro, I don't group level, as you said, this is a game that is meant to be played in breaks, hence during the day I only get time for an exilars here and an exilars there, so I need to solo level.
I dont use pots and idols die to my druid being my sidearm.

Good point, Pig! We lost aggra once, due to another clan starting just seconds before us. Unfortunately for us, they idoled like crazy for a good while because they wern't ready and we were. Limited idol use will show that a clan's teamwork will mean something!

While I agree with fromen about group seal lock and if everyone does once lock is lost, I still think idols need a nerf to make clans earn kills

I think that anything that takes away the lock defeats the purpose of the lock.
If you don't get there in the first 25% move on and let someone else play.

I think a death penalty is the best option. I would love to see one added.

Bit late on the thread for me to be pitching ideas but instead of making idols less functional how about penalties on drops e.g
Kill a boss with 0 idols royal ring guaranteed 1k gold guaranteed
Kill a boss with 25 idols no chance of royal ring 750 gold max
Kill a boss with 50 idols such as grommak fabeled ring at the most no crest

Seems much more functional so those who want to continue idolling bosses can but at a cost of now having that great of drops
