You all seem upset that target lock will take away competition?
From what I can see of it so far (which is only from reading the forums about it) is that it will create competition...

Instead of just camping there, knowing that you will be able to take the mob straight away - you will actually need to work for the kill. Meaning that you will actually have some competition in getting the mob.

If you are level 150, killing Fal - your % required for lock will be higher than a level 90 at the same time, but from what I am reading, you will still have pretty much the same chance to get to that % at the same time - no? If you need 50%, and the level 90 needs 30%, then its a competition for you to get to 50% first! At level 150, you will be hitting much harder and getting to your required percentage at a comparable rate.

So what your saying is that someone who worked their ass off to get to 150 should have as hard a time locking onto Falgren as a level 90?

Why does the 150 need to be getting Falgren? He will already have frozen or dragon or whatever it is by then.

And when will the level 90 get his chance to get Falgren? when he is level 150?

You all seem threatened by the fact that others are going to have the chance to be competitive in the game...

You're overexagerating how hard it is to get a group for Falgren, or how important he is. It's not that hard and you only get a Rebirth book out of it anyway. In reality you would do the same if you were our level. I'm not saying you will turn into a falgrencamperksingmonster but think about it. You only need 4 dragon discs per account and yet you still see people that don't need any more drags camping them. Why? The drags are a form of income for the most people that beg to be in your group and bash on you for being greedy, not for the quest, and I personally do not believe a level 90 should make as much money as a 150.

Don't get me wrong. If I have a buddy that needs Falgren, I'll group him no matter what level he is. But if a random tries to group me for Falgren, 4 our of 5 times he will just be another person trying to score a free drag.

It's not "competition". It's taking away the whole point of leveling.

I'll finish this thought with saying that a full group of level 90s will take a really long time to kill Falgren.

PS... I didn't get my warden BP or sword until level 96+...

Like gibbon said ur agreeing to have people who might actually need the quest A and need the drags for wep and bp B a 150 should need a higher lvl to get anything at all. give some of the other lower guys a chance why should the game be set for levels instead of content. The higher lvl aka 150 shouldnt realy be camping fal to get a income. As for why should a lvl 90 make as much as a 150 thats a very unbalanced analogy seeing as a 150 can kill almost any ow mob as they please up to wyverns and tamers, while a lvl 90 can only kill purple eyes ,blue eyes, maybe a tree if there lucky they get at least 4x less gold per level then a 150 would a little extra gold is bad for a lvl 90? Do u want them to stay at 90 or get gold buy elixers so he can work his ass off to get higher and higher and hopefully be 150 someday. Think u were a lvl 90 once u know there feeling but u choose to ignore it for what ur own greed ur 150 why care what a lvl 90 sells and makes off of zed item.

I'm level 150 and I can

-not solo wyverns.
-not bandage wound all the damage I get from a level 120 golem.
-not farm eyes because it's as boring as death.

Please tell me what else there is to do other than Aggragoth.

Please also tell my why Falgren is crucial into leveling past 90. As far as I know, it's not practical to level on elixirs at level 90(because you wouldn't have money for lux items) unless you buy platinum with real money.
