My rogue at 167 has 2 pieces of DL (gloves and boots). frozen dagger, midnight tali, rend bracer, frozen bp/legs, fiery helm of champion, dagger of bounty, reaper/speed ring, royal/grand shatter rings. Besides the rend bracer, are those really OP gear outside others ability to obtain?

Yes I've been trying forever to equip royal/grand shatter rings on my rogue and it just isn't happening.

Btw why the bounty dagger? Do you go almost pure str? Or do you like the regen?

Both reaper and midnight are quiet powerful but i rather not dying while lvling if i have a druid, i tried to lvl without a druid on trolls, it was horrible, i also lvl both my alts with druid and druid only. Im talking about bosses only, and the only reason Foool said heroic travel elixirs is because u were the one to suggest them and added heroic armour, just by suggesting that, u have no right really to tell us to not use idols as well.

I'm not pure str, definitely. That's a ticket to dying all the time. Why dagger of bounty? If I use the axe, I can't even sneaky unless I put points in focus. I need more DL to increase my energy pool. (also my mistake in prior post, I meant shadowstrike rings, not shatter)

It was a response to someone who refuses to use druids on bosses. So I said, your option is to use travel lixes because if you only play 4 out of 5 classes, then you have to supplement your gameplay with platinum. But idols shouldn't be it. Try to understand what I'm saying and don't cloud your judgement because you don't like it.

Actually since I only ever 5+ boxed I used spring to life a lot up to around lvl100. For players on a budget who are under 100 and are always in a group its not a horrible skill. Rings for it are as cheap as they come.

Then again I'm partial to group based skills since I'm in one 95% of the time. Love my breath skull and hrung helm that would get laughs in most cases. 1400 group heal 20% cd reduced does wonders for group aoe damage.

I've never used any pots as there is no point in a group - right now idols heal far more for the same price. Also I have plenty of lux/sigils so I don't ever have to pot for energy. Worst case I use a lix but rarely feel inclined too.

Who dies while leveling.... Seems like you have issues with your stats and skills. Not to mention you have to consider what mobs you cannot kill at your current level...

Not really. OTM is changing idols because they don't want players having unlimited lives. I just happen to agree with them, and I think all these "protests" is merely a cover up in the lack of desire to play a more challenging game. CH players have always had it easy and things are changing and I understand why many don't like it. It's human nature to resist change, especially if it's perceived as a negative one.

Lets make it simple, in the favor of challenge, as u seek one, i'll give u some challenges :
1. Make lvl 1 caster.
2. Lvl to 190 (or 200 if u want some extra challenge) with no idols, pots, sigils, elixirs, bank or backpack expanasions (yes those too), ley frags, extra hotbar slots, books of alt and rebirth, or pretty much use only the plat items u can get by doing quests urself.
3. In the sake of explaining u the clan banner suggestion, dont join a clan.
4. Dont give him items.
5. Actually guide ppl on forums.
6. Try to grats gwy for their kill.
7. Have fun.

Again, I fail to see how the idol change is related to no-platinum items. I don't understand your argument here.
