That is pure speculation and has no basis in fact, so you can't use it to justify your arguments. While we haven't seen anything better yet, doesn't mean it won't happen.
I think players just got spoiled with 4 luxury shops coming every year so I can understand the frustration of not having a new set of lux for the next update. In the early CH days, we get one seasonal lux shop per year and that was enough.

Luxury items should be toned down anyway, and I hoped that OTM is actually listening to the feedback that Raid drops should always be better than shop items. Better necklaces will come out eventually, lux shop or raid drop, and Wyldshrine will become the new Heroic Rejuv Necklace of CH.

Your right, that is speculation. Taking in to consideration the trend of the past year it shows really high odds of it being a correct statement. Then you say lux should be toned down? I gaurantee it will make the economy and inflation way worse. Something needs to happen sooner than later. In mmorpg economy is one of the most important parts. And in this one that relies on plat sales it is vital.

You cannot compare now to the early days. The game was not overly saturated with gold. We were all lower level and got 10-20 gold per kill. And there were less people playing. It is much more complex now.

Going the way it is now, the plat buyers are not going to buy plat because there is no reason to. We have to much gold. We support this game in realty and it will fall if it keeps going like this.

Back in my day....very few had the hero ammy and we were ecstatic to get a twinsoul ammy from dustwither hehe

I agree with Aileron, GB's statement was completley based off of his initial speculation (like usual). You cannot state something as fact when you're going off of an opinion.

From what I can tell, the only reason you guys are saying that Event Lux is always getting worse is because you're just comparing it to the Wyld Ammy. Yes, the Wyld Ammy was probably the best necklace for bossing, but it doesn't have any Aura if you wear the whole set. Stargem was also good and even the Pathfinder from last event was good- and they have Aura. This Event's Stalker ammy is almost as good as the Wyld- having Instant Damage AND DoT. So which one is REALLY better? They all have their pros and cons.

Instead of looking at everything after the Wyld ammy as inferior why don't you look at it for what it is- Good Lux. You people want to bring back the old amazing lux that you missed out on (or want more of) instead of wanting new better lux.

I haven't seen a single suggestion by you people who want Reapers and Wyld brought back to instead have OTM introduce NEW and BETTER Lux Items. You're stuck in the past instead of looking to improve.

You missed my point, it isnt about the wyld ammy or reaper in general. It is about the state of the economy, and people having a want to buy plat so otm stays sucsessful. You all keep talking in circles to somehow protect your own agendas. But I honesty believe otm will see it their way, and that will be whatever it takes to make their company successful. And I guarantee if they put in legacy lux shops they would have the most successful year for profit they have ever had and the economy in game would be better.

What im seeing is some people would rather see otm go out of buisness and the game shut down then give up the thought that they are special because they have something nobody else has or do not want anyone else to be competitive with them. Its just sad.

I'm not on some crusade to prevent Event Lux from coming back, and I'm sure none of the other guys here are either.

You're telling me that we aren't thinking about OTM's future and success, but you want them to bring back their best lux- which is practically shooting themselves in the foot. Actually it's more like shooting themselves in the ***, because if they did that they WOULD have a pretty good year. Tbh it'd be more of a good few months.

People would go nuts and buy Reapers, Wyld, Stargem- everything they missed out on. And then when everyone has what they want? OTM is right back at the start, as are the players. Everybody now has the lux they want and gold starts piling up all over the place. Sure, if they reintroduce previous Lux it'll stave that off for a year or so, but that isn't anywhere near a solution.

If they release Old Lux permanently then they will either have to

1) Release New and "inferior" Lux
OR
2) Release BETTER Lux

And either way they're gonna piss players off because they already brought back the "best Lux in the game".

Why not spare themselves the backlash and just go ahead and release incrementally better lux like they've been doing? What I'm seeing is a bunch of fanatical players with a Reaper Ring fetish who don't want to see anything new and better. It isn't just sad- it's disappointing.
