One of my clanies just received a 6month ban because somone with multiple accounts reported him for stealing fish, however they both regularly fish that spot and the player 16cm has successfully removed competition by filing complaints on several accounts, I’m personally afraid to move forward in game because I’m afraid of being reported and temp banned for something as petty as fishing same spot, would love for this to be fixed , because newer players like my clan mate get banned for playing the game , no exploits nothing .

Also, please have your clan member submit an appeal to [email protected]. That is the first step to recovering a banned account.

I highly doubt they were banned for "stealing fish".
