Why is it that the xp event constantly lowers it's rate, the first one was 2x and I get it was op back when the level cap was lower but now it'd actually be useful, then we had 1.5x which is super useful still and everyone was happy with it but now it's been dropped even lower to 1.25x, we appreciate the event happening but some of us have alts to level that could truly benefit from a 1.5x event and with the constant influx of players into new servers as people are xferring to new servers left and right some people could really use the extra .25x at the least, it'd be truly appreciated if it's at all possible to do this.

Its 125 because unlike the other ones. This one is extended to last 7 days.

Because there have been 2 1.5x xp events in last 6 months probably.

2X xp was the first of it's kind and was such a sensation that you couldn't enter carrow from the lag, combine that with the rampant accusations of KS and the devs got the impression that double XP might be a bit TOO much of an incentive.
1.5 xp events have been the standard for xp events ever since (yes, exceptions, but hey, variety is the spice of life).
This first May event is an xp and gold event (both with a 25% bonus), so yes, less xp, but more gold.

Carrow wasn’t released during the first EXP event event. There was never an exp event while Carrow was the EG zone.

I personally prefer the 125 gold and xp over 150 xp, less people lixing, i get about 2-3k in gold without selling drops per lix on bogans, its nice
