Celtic Heroes

So today I bought two hellsteed eggs, it would be the dream if I could one day manage to get it to max level. This is thinking it is the best locking mount (I am a 220 ranger). So I wanted to ask, are spirit mounts better for locking and just better in general? Should I resell the eggs? And does anyone believe or have any insight if devs have plans on more premium mounts for the future? (if a dev reads this I'll appreciate an answer)

Spirit mounts are like the tier 7 version of hellsteads. With better stats and movement speed. Honestly hellsteads are just for show imo or could be used for pvp. I would sell or you can keep if you are a collector.
