Druid Lixing

#1
Hey, I'm druid level 190.
And i'm annoyed to lix.
NOT only do druids have low damage, but also slow af, like this, i barely get 1 bar each lix.
Please, let haste lix speed up Vines and Bee's attack speed, I've seen rogues, warriors and rangers deal more damage with auto attacks with haste which makes it faster than Druid vines and Bee's. Why? Please buff Druid, because it's a pain to lix.

I beg to differ. While Vines are slow to cast, it can do good damage. I've enjoyed lixing a druid over most other toons, call me crazy, but the right build makes it sooo much easier.

Typically you've got one of two routes for a lixing druid. Full caster or caster + totem build.

Pure caster: Vines/Bees/LS/ST/Bark with level 1 touch
Gear: Hrung LS skull for recast
Necro ST cooldown bracer
Spider misc of Earth (Vines/LS skill)
The rest of your jewels can be anything and everything from regen items/+skill items. The goal is to have level 50 in all of your DPS skills. Use +focus food to increase your damage

Caster + Totem (my preferred leveling method)
Dragonlord Totem (depending on room) Royal Frostiron Totem (+vines skill)
Offhand Magic Axe or Dagger of Spite
Necro ST bracer
2-3 Necro Totem rings (can be had for cheap)
+skill items everywhere else
Skills: LS/ST/Vines/Bark/Double Attack or Bees (bees is an energy killer)
Use bara brith/sunshine casserole, ideally Exquisite ones. You will need to add a little bit of STR to this build. If you can afford to use Heroic Haste, do it. At least use a combo. For this build to be effective you need to be swinging at least 50% faster. A simple haste item at 30%, you wont see a huge gain and be like, why did I use this totem? The idea of the totem build is that you're doing pretty decent damage in between casts and when a spell misses... you're out of luck with damage until it cools down.
