New scavenger items

#1
I was rather dissapointed with the new scavenger items. All of the itmes seem to be heavily mage based. All of the new offhands do fire magic or cold damage wich is usless to rogues and warriors. The scavenger helmets do magic damage or increased focus. The warriors have some sheilds that are useful, and druids could use the energy regeneration offhands but for rogues and rangers there is almost nothing. The sword and trident offhands are good but the elemental damage just gets added to a rogues normal damage instead of being multiplied like pierce crush or slashing damage. The helms are useless to rogues because they add magic damage, so here are my suggestions:

add a helm that adds piercing damage(like the Golden helm of the prowress but with piercing damage instead of magic damage)

add a dagger offhand( and the other offhand types) that does regular damage like pierce, slashing, and crushing, or regular damage along with some elemenatal damage. so maybe add a different version of each offhand type with regular damage and elemental damage, or just regular damage.

add a crown that increases your strength like the crown that increases focus.

The new scavenger items make me feel like the devs are favouring the mage and maybe even overpowering it a bit. This is my thoughts on this please leave feed back and admins please think about adding these items :)

Hey,
Could you please answer to my question please ?
(I know you are busy and won't look directly in the mage topics ;) )
Once again i'm wondering if something is wrong about this

So, our wand is actually doing MAGIC dmg but does it really increase our dmg, i mean don't we need FIRE and ICE dmg ?
And even if we had both FIRE and ICE i don't know if wand dmg is effective but to hit harder with the wand ...
So now the question is : Is it better to buy the 300k offhand magic sword or just choose between fire or ice ones ?

Thx :!:
Thx again for reading

Hi there,

the fire/ice/or magic damage will get added to your attacks, so it's up to you which one you choose they will all do the same damage, the only difference is what resistance the enemy has that you are attacking

Hope that makes sense

How about items that upgrade current lux. like more health on ammys, dmg on bodkin or better regen. u buy the upgrade item and it can be used on the different lux u already have like even old lux like my ruby fire skull.

I was really hoping with the new deluxe items that there would be Haste and Speed items that could be put into Jewelry slots (rings, bracelets or charms).

Haste and Speed are 2 very important things to have in an MMO like this.

We have these great quest lines for the boots and gloves (warden, meteoric, and so on because the quests continue) that give great equipment that basically just sit in storage if somebody wants to use the haste gloves or boots of speed.

It was on my wish list. I did buy the energy ring, anything that adds regen is cool. But now will play hard all weekend to afford a Heroic Ammy, it's still the most important item to have.

what about the helm that does pierce damage? I dont think it is over powered if thats why bloodlust was taken out and a pierce damage helm isnt in the scavenger shop. if anything is overpowered its mages, especially with the new items.

We mages are the most underplayed class (and underpowered for leveling) so we need all the help we can get. Don't hate on us please. Trust me, Even as a mage the items arent that spectaculatlr, I'm probably going to use the warrior shield, which shows how good the caster offhands are for my build.

Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?

+1 kinda/-1 kinda

The existing lux shop in the game in the castle is tremendously Melee oriented. It's so Melee oriented that I think it makes perfect sense for there to be a caster oriented shop as well. Do I disagree that Rogue's shouldn't have a new offhand, no...I definately think the Rogue needs a few items in there. I tend to think that a few class oriented melee items wouldnt be awful, but I'm fine with the caster lean.

The Master's Grimoire is the best 300k I have ever spent. Its godly. Adding 100 focus & 15 regen? Yeah, nuff said, that thing is riddiculous. Raised my Touch by like 50, and my Breeze by like 12 just equipping it. And my build is pretty hybrid in that I solo and heal intermittenty. It's high price is warranted, but it's a tremendous new caster offhand and the 2x Gold Weekend is an awesome time for it to come.
