New in-game policies

#1
I've just posted the new in-game policies on the forum. These policies are designed to help protect you from various issues such as trade scams, unauthorised access, etc. Protection is our main priority here, and it is why we have written these new policies.

The policies can be found in the Support section, in the new forum titled 'Policies': http://www.onethumbmobile.com/celticher ... m.php?f=71

Please take the time to read through all of these policies, as they affect everybody.

These new policies are in full effect, and all users are subject to them.

Thank you.

I don't 100% understand the 2-warning system.

I appreciate a single-warning system.

But a first warning and a second warning basically seems counter intuitive.

Isn't a warning in itself a note that if you don't cease the activity you are subject to consequence?

With 2 warnings....all the first warning says is: If you do this 1 more time, we won't do anything, but 2 more times and yer screwed.

It's mainly about giving players a chance to cease whatever activity has caused them to receive a warning.

We felt that if we had 1 warning, and then a suspension, this was a rather extreme reaction. Therefore we decided to implement a 2 warning system, with the 2nd warning being much more severe than the first, and acting as a 'final warning'.

Have we had a final decision on clan banks?
You generally have 4-5 people that take control of them and hand out drops.

What happens with them as it would be the whole server that is discriminated against of a ban happens
D0nk0 Lvl143 warrior
D1nk1 lvl90 druid (retired)
D2nk2 lvl70 ranger (retired)
D3nk3 lvl128 druid (dual log)
D4nk4 Lvl142 ranger (tri log)
D6nk6 lvl80 mage (retired)

I am confused. I started the post: "Trying to comply with terms of use"

Where we acknowledge that the game can not support any sort of sharing so clans have had to resort to clan banks and some clan toons like a tank or a druid.

I was under the impression that there was going to be some form of acknowledgement that an account can get permission to be shared meaning that whatever happens happens and dont come crying to support.

Perhaps something as simple as changing the name of the character to end with "shar" or "bank" perhaps an action that only a clan chief can initiate.

You have just published a death sentence on every clans bank each one having hundreds of items.

Is this really what you intended to do? Is there some patch coming out that will solve all these problems?

Nono,

You forgot something. Everyone who accessed clan bank will be banned. Thats roughly 30% of the high lvls, and 80% of the long-term players.

Guess they need to make it where once you are promoted to general in a clan (have a limit based on 1 every 25 members or so) you can fast travel to any key without fragments so each general can different drops. One has frags one has rems one has rings one has orbs and crests etc. the only problem with that is waiting for that general to come online to gear you.

An if they are strict about banning all who have accessed another account that they didn't create the I will say goodbye now. I have been playing since end of January and I will be banned because I have been trusted enough become a general and to have the clan bank info.

Well they wont have to worry about making anychanges to OW. There wont be hardly anybody left to play in it.
