I am a slow leveler. That is the only way to put it. I level slow, even by the standards of people who don't use elixirs. I'm at level 69 right now, and I expect to reach 70 sometime next week. I'm constantly getting distracted, going off and doing something else, and my in-game money burns holes in my pockets. What I see however, is that there are people 50 levels higher than me that truly are noobs. The game's ability to let you get to the top if you buy your way there has caused many people to go rocketing past me in level, peak at about 120, and are then never heard from again. This all happens in about the course of a week. Meanwhile, mathematically I gain about 2/5 of a level per week (been playing since January, 28 weeks.) What is it that causes this desire to "win" without actually playing the game? Why do they all quit at about the same level? Is it because they all realize that it's an MMORPG and that you can't "win"? I'm not proposing that you remove the ability for people to do that, because they're out of our hair in a month at most, and they're a huge economy stimulus on the way up, but you need to give people a warning. Victory is sweeter when you've worked for it.
So just go slow. Smell the roses, so to speak. You don't need to level up right this instant, the level will still be there tomorrow. Make some friends. Have some fun. Plan an underwear party in the Tavern. Just avoid the manic rush to get to the top, and remember that it's a game.
Oh yeah, and it's funny whenever one of these super-levelers calls me a noob after reaching 120 in a week

Once I get to level 80, get full Green Shadow Armor, and get myself an icon, I'd be interested in having an artisic rendering of my character for my sig.
