Which one is a better main when you aren't able to buy plat and get lux early on?

ranger, mages are a rather expensive class in my limited experiece

Ranger is way cheaper to play. A mage sucks down energy like there is no tomorrow. Yoy woyld have to invest heavily into sigils or regen items to regen efficiently and level at a decent pace.

Rangers are so worth it. =D I mean rapid shot is horrible for em I mean it takes shield down in no time!

I'm sorry to say, unless there are serious changes made to mages, rangers will always be on top:(

rangers are better if you want melee dmg. mages are cool for animations and duelling and doing dmg, but rangers are a whole lot better.
mages are expensive. a lot of energy regens needed. and bad melee. a friend of mine sold me a energy regen for such a cheap price, 30k i cant believe my luck. than it was scammed lol. so druids are the most expensive class if you ask me but u go to bosses.... again its up to you

rogues and mages are the most expensive classes

rogues because solo leveling takes tonnes of pots and idols

mages because they have to keep energy up in combat

druids can heal out of combat

If I had heroic rejuv, just a thought, I think Id be able to kill every class, besides the warriors with 100 damage weapons...as a ranger, continuing my quick heal is pretty high. Like if they all attacked with light weapons.
