First graph is porportion of players as a given class at the various levels. IE: what percentage of lvl 100's are warriors?(" (20% is average)
Image
Second graph is how the porportion of each class compares to the average proportion of all classes at a given level. IE: how does the percentage of all mages are lvl 120-130 compare to the average of all classes lvl 120-130? (100% bieng average)

Thanks to Papi for all his hard work on this.

Now which class do you think should be complaining ? lol jk. We mages are very civil :D
Look on the brightside, it seems like lots of people wantto play a mage (or try it out) but don't find the benefit to cost ratio is high enough to keep playing it.

I bet more people that want to play mages quit the game entirely proportionately than people that play any other class relying on the given data.

People don't play mages because they train like snails and nobody can assist with mana regen Druids help every class except mages and giving Druids a new skill to help mages prob wont help as Druid points r spread among too many skills allready from what I've seen everyone is giving up mages and playing rogues that is if there still playing

Everyone compares dps figures that's fine but compare them after first min of fight Mage is a quick bang that's not sustainable a rogues damage is totally sustainable Mage can manage 2 kills at same level then it has to take a break killing 2 things with a 5 min break between kills is not training it's tedious

Nice graphs!

So, not only do people not want to play as a mage, they also don't compare with other classes at the same level. Therefore is the conclusion - mages are just really s***? ;)

I think that this support role that seems to be advocated in this game where mages are meant to replenish other players energy and providing all these lure spells etc, is a bloody boring role for someone in a group to do. No wonder no-one wants to pick a mage, it’s hardly interesting, and certainly it seems that this support role isn’t even really needed as it is (my mage is only currently in the level 50’s range, so I don’t know whether later levels need this kind of support).

If there aren't many mages why are blue rems and tabs and blue crests most common?

Nice graphs, I would like to say last night I switched my build so could solo lvl... Even with 2k health and max eshield going it was taking forever to kill mobs and I wasted tons of pots because to put it simply our armor is crap. And how many points I put into health got rid of tons of my energy and damage. Mage levelin is a long and tideous task. At least with solid energy build I could kill a blue tree 1-2 star before my eshield died. So I thought of something that could fix eshield... Seeing as its not connected to ice ability at all ATM, maybe when you use energy shield maybe because it only gives around 1k health and costs 1k energy could it also give some armor? That would make it more effective and fair for mages. Honestly I don't care about pvp class balance. If ppl think mages are op in pvp they can use thier brain and not fight them.

Well, probably because drops are random. Since there are less mages to use them, they become more and more common. Right ?
