There is absolutely no reason that something like Ythair should be on a predictable timer. It should be a completely random spawn.

I dont mean to detract the rest of your post but it's not OTMs fault you slept thru your alarm and you missed your dragon.

I'm pretty sure you can buy Earthstone armor later when the event is over. Just like how you got your Darkflame. You will likely be a proud owner of full Radiant too.

And FYI it's not a fixed 12-hour spawn. At least not on our server. It's more like 12.5-13 hours so it's not always going to be 3am or 3pm like in your for example.

Waste your time somewhere else man...

Don't blame OTM, they make it lvl 140 for a purpose. They make the drop that good also with a purpose, although aileron will said otherwise lol...

I disagree. This set timer, just makes the DPS-Heavy clans more powerful. I think this new timers ridiculous. Camp for 12 hours to find another clan show up with 10minutes until spawn? Nawh fk that.

The people that like the set timer, and the people that have only 1 top clan on their server.. Or atleast 1 major leading clan. I'm with KingRaaa on this, I think the set timer was a bad idea.

If the timer was more random then everyone would have the chance to camp instead of only 1 person/clan having the exact info.

Why would someone want to camp when they know an entire clan is going to show up 10 mins before it spawning?

Not to sound harsh, but you can't please everyone. I do agree a compromise should be made, as long as it is more beneficial to everyone in some way.

Seriously? You camp Ythair for 12 hours knowing he has a 11-13 hour respawn? The other clan is smart.

Putting him on a timer is best because it means he will be killed the most times, meaning the most armor will be released into the world.

If you can't kill him, buy it. If you can't kill him or buy it, maybe you shouldn't have it.

This game was designed to be kind of a free for all. If you think random times will stop the top clan from getting it, you may be wrong. One of them will just camp it a lot and call the rest of the clan. As of now people aren't standing around watching paint dry for 6 hours at a time. That isn't a game, that's a deep personal issue. Go outside and play, then come back when he is about to spawn and make the best group.

For craps sake man, setting your alarm to 3am to camp a boss?? Just relax and step away from the game. Try to get a little perspective here, this game will not bring your life satisfaction or grander meaning in the long term. Use it to pass the time when you're bored or have had enough of school, work, or whatever it is. Just try and get a little distance here, if this game is causing more stress than happiness it may be time to revaluate some things.
