Clan Loyalty- Drops or Family?

Hello,
Interesting question for all of you- What does clan loyalty mean to you? Do you stay because the people you play with become great friends and family to you, or do you only stay when that clan gives you a steady stream of drops?
For me personally- i can wait for the drops if it comes to that. hell this game isnt meant to get all your gear and stuff in a few days-its supposed to last. supposed to take time and make the end result worth it . My clan is my family, and the day i leave it will be under very harsh circumstances.
People who leave a clan where they are viewed as family are in my opinion very selfish since they will certainly get their gear if they would show up to bosses, camp them, and just have a little bit of patience. Am i the only one that thinks so? My clan is certainly capable of getting the gear if only they would stop being selfish and work with the rest of the clan like they used to. Smh- i remember a time when these people would give drops to clannies that need even if they needed it themselves. Now people have changed. they hoard, they demand. and they get pissy when they dont get everything now now now. tbh- i have no respect or patience for these people, they have lost that.
anyway, thats my opinion. Whats yours?
Sincerely,
Lady Rosethorn of Rhiannon

P.S no bashing. idc if you disagree with me, but u dont have to be disrespectful to do it.

Honestly.. I agree. Too many people have lost their morals, and forgotten the meaning of a clan. I personally lose all respect for someone, when they leave a clan for boss drops. Leaving for another reason? Fair enough, your call.. but atleast give the clan you're leaving, a fair, respectful send-off. Especially if they were your long-term clan.

Well, speaking of other games, Clan Loyalty means exactly that. Loyalty to that clan (or what ever name is used to call a group of like minded people), not loyalty to the "almighty dollar".
That said, I'll have to get back to you when I get into a clan in this game

I agree. You can tell your clanmates are selfish when they cause drama over drops and don't listen to each other. Sometimes taking the best people from the world, most of which are in rival clans, and mashing them into one powerful clan isn't the best idea (Thats what happened with my old clan).Yes you get all the drops you need and all the drops you don't need but want, but I'd rather be in a clan with friends and people who aren't so selfish. Ffs there's some people in my old clan who cried to get drops first haha.
To me this game is all about the social aspect, and when your stressed out because of people in a game, it's not worth it.

the one clan i have been able to call and relate as family is eve. i have been with them for a looooong time. sure most people in clan have arguements and disagree with each other, but hey a family has same problems at times

I was in Exclusive for a while and our clan was a family under LordLegendary. We killed the easier placeholders for stonefang and we killed the catacombs bosses. We joked and had fun conversations when people left and LL had to go to college. Then I became chief. I tried to keep the clan together and I recruited many other close friends, but even though they were generals, they left since they were too high lvled. So I finally left after my newly appointed generals left.
In my new clan, it was fun for a while, but now not many people get on.
So after hearing my sob story, my opinion is that family is more important than drops.
I really don't care for the drops.

Personally I look for how the clan is run. If it is a socialist dictatorship like 99% of the clans out there...cya. That is why I started my own clan, because there was no clan out there that offered personal freedom on Beleneus.
Aside from that I look for whether my voice will be heard. I am at a point in my life where I don't have to be top leader, but my input needs to be listened to because I am an innovator (it may seem arrogant but its the truth). If my opinion is not at least acknowleged, I can be better utilized elsewhere.

I agree, Clan Avalon is like a family. We know each other quite well. I don't think I would ever leave that clan even if it become a ghost clan with all Original members in it. Clan Avalon forever!
