Who decides these stats?

Because the Radiant armor drop from Dragon is seriously ridiculously superior to Frozen. And Frozen you have to go through hoops with warden, meteor, then frozen.

On our server its tough to get the Radiant because one clan hogs it with 25+ people attacking dragon at once. No chance!

EDIT:

If OT is going to put that kind of armor out then it should also be sold in the lux shop. Because if none of us has a chance of killing dragon then let us buy it!
As mentioned that one clan camps target, and outfits all their top guys in Radiant. Leaving the rest of us in the dust and IMO unbalancing the server for boss fights.

EDIT. These are lvl 100 items. Low armor but great stats. I'll take these over frozen any day!!!!!

The fault is entirely OTMs for introducing an armor line that wasn't properly beta tested. They thought the low armor is enough to make the armor "ceremonial" only. Well guess what, if the devs actually played their game they would know how massive attack, defence, and elemental damage bonuses actually matter more than low armor.

I made a post about how overpowered Radiant is, 2 days after the summer patch. Just didnt get any suppport and feedback because people think i was whining because i didn't have any, which is quite far from the truth. People loved radiant. Of course, who wouldn't. But it is overpowered no matter how OTM says it isn't.

It is very over powered. And I do agree, having armor drops sold in the luxury shop during events would be convenient. Being in the boss groups should have benefits too. Maybe if the only sold the lesser versions in the luxury shop?

This should be used for the Halloween event.
Some type of Great Pumpkin* boss could drop the Forsaken Pumpkin Scythe of Doom while from a shop you could buy a Shrouded Pumpkin Scythe of Dread.

Hell, sorry I just noticed the armor now because more people are running around with it. :-)

I take a look at Radiant and go holy f#$@#$@# Sh#$. You've got to be kidding.

Either let everyone have a shot at it or remove it. If one Clan can monopolize it due to its sheer numbers of members then the rest of us get screwed.

As if warriors needed any more incentive to forsake tanking...

I only think it's powerful when you are not the one taking the hits. Armor does play a big role this game. I think of soloing as a gauge for pvp. when you think about it, it comes down to a 1v1 in most situations. Kill a mob with full radiant as a melee class, then switch to frozen. Which armor leaves you with a higher percentage of health? an example of this would be when I accept duels from people who think their full radiant will own me

On the other hand, it is quite powerful when you are able to take down a mob regardless of your armor value. When it comes to killing bosses, it speeds up the kill. Sure it has its own ups like when you win free for all fights but the lack of armor gives it its own downs.

Rangers are ranged most of the time, so with bolas and rapid shot, they can really rack up the damage any time

Over all, It is pretty powerful, but not too over powered for a limited time set with a lack of armor.


Oh and im in a clan that gets nothing as well most of the time. I still have no earthstone items and I don't care too much for the stats of some.

I think that is one of the several cool things from the Haloween event- you could kill bosses (such as the FireTitan and the big skeleton boss) and get the event stuff for free, or pay gold to get them from the shop.

I would recommend that OTM does this again for future events- players can kill bosses to get the items if they can't afford them from the shop, and people also have the option of buying them for gold in the shop.
