Ok so after reading the content page of what the Samhain Event has to offer, am i the only one that doesnt see a difference? Yes theres going to be new charms and armour sets, but whats the difference between this event and the summer one? All i can see happening is event bosses that drop gear that the best clans on the server will time and get time after time. And what else? im guessing 1 extra quest that will give us a bad item worth nothing? I have found no fun in these events. Please use this post to share ideas you have about how we can makes these events great for everyone. please do not steer the post off topic, i want a response from a OTM member as well.

What do you find fun in? The summer event had things for every level and while some clans are able to take the more coveted monsters and drops there were still thinks every level could participate in. The only solution to these types of problems I can see is instanced bosses where a clan or group enters an area that is only for them that has the boss there, no one else can enter and everyone who enters is essentially in a different area then a different group or clan.

BCNM or KSNM style from FFXI,
Dungeonering style from Runescape,
Can't give a similar WOW example as I never played WOW.

Why don't you actually wait to see the content ?

Is you don't find the event fun thn don't participate.

community said there will be permanent content added as well, the event is the limited items and bosses, i always find the events fun

i was extremely noob at the time of halloween event and still loved it (only item i got was the helm)
winter event was great, though i was still a noob, didnt know about frostbelly, and the first time i saw him was after the event, i got the wand and helm this time and still had fun
birthday was great! i loved camping and hunting for a black hat (though i ended up buying one) i still have cakes and balloons left over
summer was great! i got a black mask, a few moon masks, and almost full radiant armour (this was the first major event in which i wasnt a noob)
im looking forward to this halloween very much, i have found the events fun regardless of my level and the amount i have gotten out of the event

i love the limited items that come out

the events are awesome in my opinion, they give fun to everyone, the only complaint i have ever had was that the event wands are not novelty use for all classes
