This event stinks!

It is nothing more than a must buy more plat event. The boss is harder than Arragoth with a one hit kill the whole area attack. 100k for costumes? Hey OTM we don't want to look the same as each other! We want seperate pieces we can put on! This shows a total lack of imagination and complete lack of proper staffing.

This game started with a good idea period. They had a small world with a dungeon. Everything else since has been player imagined and suggested and controlled! It's hard to believe you listen to the little crybabies who don't purchase your platinum and bend to their every whim.

Brooms should have never been brought back period! In a limited edition of 500, do you ever ever make more than 500? No you destroy the molds. Now that you broke that rule do you believe anyone will ever trust your word again? When the brooms came out last year it was virtually impossible to buy them without purchasing platinum. 300k when nobody had 100k.

You just emptied smellyunder's diaper all over those players who made this game what it is today. This game can become a losing business overnight when you don't make smart decisions.

Haha, my diaper is very clean. Nothing in there. Let's be fair to OTM. they are trying to balance commerical interest with player needs. There are many choices for those who cant afford the 100K charm or 500K broom. No need to buy platinum. None of my gold bought with platinum. I must have grind more than 5m gold since i started playing. And we dont need to play day and night to get enough gold to buy the cheapest charm or broom. In fact, I dont by charm during the event. I may buy after when people get tired and wanted to sell at half price or less.

The issue is last halloween make more players grow stronger to participate on the incoming events . Ppl who dint get mounts make them value as the cornerstone of the game.

But if we applied this criteria to every event always will be new players who didn't participate in previous events so we will recycle all those ideas year after year.....

We do understand the business part of the game but like the op how will you trust OTM in incoming events I think this was the more important event at all this was to consolidate the game With The loyal base but they fail in that aspect .... They made us believe the last year event was unique 1 in the game life event , this provide t funding to expands it now this event sells tho loyal base uncertain .

Only bad aspect the remains if for older players ..... But the event itself is the must balance out in content lvl wise.

I completly agree with deucaleon regarding the new brooms. you could have imagined something else. What aabout halloween 2013, 2014 ? Will you release even better brooms ? Come on. You could be better than that.

You indeed disrespected all your old customer base, that spent a lot to get these brooms and who were proud to have something special and rare. At least you should release a special APC able to upgrade our brooms against gold. Like the meteoric or frozen quests : we handle our brooms and get a better broom of doom, so we still keep original and powerful items !

The broom of doom still has the coolest attack in the game, in long terms I don't think these new brooms will effect broom of doom value.

This is about the only solution that would make me happy. If you want to release brooms each Halloween the top broom of doom which at this years 1 million and last years broom of doom (woulda been 3 million in today's gold) should have every years stats added to the previous years. I know the high price is to keep them exclusive, but the stat difference is huge and nobody should have to spend a million gold every event or every Halloween.

I think it is a shame that Admin have come to the conclusion that the events are unpopular. I like them, it adds something different, and I can imagine it must take a lot of time and effort in order to implement. I think the event is innovative, I like the theme, and I would personally like to see other events like this.

My conerns are that there is too much emphasis on getting the armour via bosses. It seems too much like the warden quests etc. I doubt I’ll get any of these items; the best clans will probably end up with all of them, leaving us more semi-casual players (albeit hard working and dedicated ones) without. I purchased a broom, and I am glad that they came back. My mage looks great on it, but I wish it had stats for a mage. I know that admin cannot satisfy everyone.

Other than that I am enjoying the event, and hope to make the most of it when the dust settles.

I guess there is also a balance that has to be made with regular live game updates, and finally some players demand changes, new items etc, and when they are delievered, it's criticised. it seems that some players are just plain rude and resentful. Haters, don't ruin it for the rest of us.
