If I remember correctly it's 21k in shop so if you can't afford better then yes that is good deal.

I'm not sure there is an ancient bow in game? Ancient Short Bow, Ancient Long Bow, and Ancient War Bow, I believe? Only owned the last one (that's the one worth 21K in the shop)so not sure.
