Hey Everyone,

It's that time again. I made a Moon Mask FAQ last event so now I am making a Bat Mask FAQ. Keep an eye on this topic as I will likely update it.

So far here is my knowledge: As with Moon Masks there are 4 Differet Types of Bat Masks per Mask Color. These masks are equipable in the Head Slot - meaning they are armor not fashion. The types are:

1. Mask of Shadows - Dexterity
2. Mask of Terror - Strength
3. Mask of Darkness - Vitality
4. Mask of Midnight - Focus

The Colors are:

1. Winged (Red Mask): No lvl requirement / +2 to stats
2. Fanged (Yellow Mask): Lvl 5 requirement / +4 to stats
3. Sinister (Green Mask): Lvl 10 requirement / +6 to stats
4. Menacing (Blue Mask): Lvl 40 requirement / +10 to stats
5. Malevolent (White Mask): Lvl 60 requirement / +15 to stats
6. Dread (Black Mask): Lvl 100 requirement / +25 to stats

Unless I have missed something that means there are exactly 24 types of Bat Masks. In addition the mobs seem to spawn somewhere around every 10-15 minutes (Much faster spawns than Moon Mask Mobs). Like Moon Mask Mobs they always spawn in exactly the same location. However, this event has ONE MAJOR CHANGE. Just because a Bat Mask mob is wearing a Blue mask for example does not mean he will always drop a Blue mask. From what I have been able to gather so far you have a 1 in 3 chance of color. You will either get the mask the mob is wearing or a mask one level above or below. For example: a mob wearing a Blue Bat Mask can drop either a Green, Blue, or White Mask. I have confirmed the option one lvl above or below. I have not confirmed whether or not the mob can drop masks 2 lvls above or below yet. Remember these mobs spawn where Humanoid type mobs spawn. So that means they won't spawn around the Eyes for example. The following will be the Spawn Locations as I know them - Looks like 2 Mobs per zone:

Lir's Reach:
1. Northern Peninsula - head towards Hagvar camp (It is a leidang mob)
2. Skullcrusher Camp (It is a skullcrusher mob)

Crookback Hollow:
1. None

Dustwither Catacombs:
1. Deaths Carress - head towards stairs to Donn Room - should be at bottom of steps (It is an acolyte mob)
2. Deaths Carress - head towards cadavers (it is a cadaver mob)

Shalemont Ravine:
1. Shalemont River head towards Redbane - he can be found before you hit the tents (It is a connact mob)
2. Greygorge head towards Ironspike - he can be found right next to Ruffcramp the Prison Guard (It is a connact mob)

Stonevale:
1. Leave farm and head towards Southern Road - This mob is located right before you leave the fairies (It is a fairie mob)
2. Druid pit by Falgren spawn (It is a druid mob)

Otherworld:
1. Across Bridge - Hang a right (It is a Blackthorn mob)
2. Near Agrragoth - to the right of the Obelisk (It is a Dragoncult mob)

Feel free to add any other spawn locations or corrections.
Happy Hunting :)

2. Skullcrusher Camp (It is a skullcrusher mob)
Where is the skullcrusher "camp"? As far as I know they all roam the flower field south of the warden circle. Can you be more specific where?

There is another spawn of a level 32 connacht skirmisher batmask between ribbonswords and ranger darrion in shalemont. This typically drops sinister masks.
