Celtic Heroes

So you know those statues? The ones that you have to do quests for and bring all that crap back to the statue. Then, suddenly you get these abilities such as reflex, Vigour, and etc. What are these abilities used for? It's a bit confusing towards me!

skill attack eveasion

fortitude=physical evade
warding=spell evade
vigour=wounding evade
reflex=moving evade
willpower=weakening evade
mental evade (very rare and cannot be gained)=taunt, calm, distract, and play dead type of thing
