New 3D Engine : (confirmed in V5)
Admins recently stated that OTM team will directly work after V4 on a new 3D engine : "The new engine will allow us to significantly increase the visuals of the game going forwards." As a new engine means of course a new update via Apple and not just a simple patch, this is indeed a new complete update of the game, so a Version 5. Better design is a good new, but it also means slower release of new contents and activities like crafting, which will only comes in V6.
New Playing Areas :
Farcrag Sewers : (confirmed in V4)
Will be located under Farcrag Castle, currently used by smugglers, can be reached via a new sewer entrance in Farcrag Castle, via the door in Crookback Hollow and also possibly from the Tavern cellars.
Fingal's Cave : (confirmed in V4)
A new cave system with an underground lake that is linked via Shalemont Ravine mine entrance and via a caved in wall in the sewers.
Carrowmore Tunnels : (confirmed in V4)
From fingals' Tunnels, there a rope bridge across a chasm links to a huge underground tunnel area with high level and dangerous enemies.
The Tower : (confirmed in V6)
The main new area of V6 and following the Otherworld, will be accessible via the second leystone of the Otherworld, after finishing the quests listing all the main Otherworld bosses, rumors is this new area will contain mostly cold damages bosses opposing the Otherworld fire damages bosses. Following the same logic, somedays an area with the evil FINAL boss Crom might be released with very powerful magic damages bosses.
New PVP Clan Area Fight : (unconfirmed release date yet)Hi there. There are 3 new underground areas coming out in the forthcoming update. Just to give you an idea what we are thinking of after that, we would like to add the tower, Crom's prison, the Connacht castle, clan battlegrounds, new arenas, and after that we will be making new areas accessible by boat, most likely pict and norse areas.
Was announced by admin in V4 way before V3, I cannot find admin replie but i very clearly remember him mentioning a new PVP Zone, where clan would be able to capture objectives as : A GOLD MINE, A WINDMILL, don't remember the rest. These objectives will bring clan rewards. What are these rewards ? still a mystery... Clan points ? Clan Gold ?... Apparently Clan VS Clan Fights are not a priority for OTM. But just look how many noobs are always camping in the castle dueling each others without any purpose than socialise. When players are bored, Clan PVP areas would be great so that player stuck in the level cap can play with each other, test their builds, show off their items, get objectives and rewards like organize raids, capture flags. Yes some players would not have interests in it, but sure many players would, and would have fun while waiting updates and patches.

Upgrading of Existing Areas
Tavern : (unconfirmed modifications date)
- Mini-Games : Mentionned many times by admins, but nothing confirmed yet. The Tavern name may be renamed as the Green Dragon :
Arena : (unconfirmed modifications date)Keep your suggestions coming in folks! We really want to hear what you want to see and what you would like to do in the Tavern, even if we should change the name to something like "The Green Dragon" (which isn't very good, so don't worry it won't be called that!).
- Idols ? : Will idols be finally suppressed from the arena ? : Admins said he relayed the idea to the team, no confirmation yet.
- Mini-Games : Mentionned many times by admins, but no news yet. Main propositions of mini-games are : Endless mobs Fights getting stronger and higher level, longer you live, the more mobs you kill, the higher the payload. Bosses Fights : could be one or a group of several bosses (why not already in game but not droping quests items). Then the questions of idols may be reconsidered.
Horses and Pets :
Horses : (unconfirmed release date yet)
They were announced for V4, but may only be released in V6. Already the sellers shops are visible in Farcrag, but :
- Will they be simple mounts like brooms or mounted combat will be implemented ?
(mounted combat : Instead of equipping a horse like a broom or a carpet and loosing the benefits of your weapons, you can ride your horse and still holding our own main and off-hand weapons (or just the main) and attack/block with them)
- Will we be able to level our horses as our pets and name them ?
- Will we be able to equip our horses with their own armors and other items from special lux shops or crafting ?
- Will we be able to win stat bonuses like speed increase, or damage power to our main weapons ? (indeed a blow from a spear from a horse in full speed is not the same as a current spear blow)
Pets : (unconfirmed release date yet)
Admin once asked ideas about pets but whether they will be implemented one day (like dogs or wolves) is still a mystery.
New mobs And bosses :

The Firbolg

The Smugglers
The Smugglers are a band of cutthroats who operate out of the sewers beneath Farcrag Castle. With contacts at all levels of society, the Smugglers can get anything and deliver it anywhere. But be warned, for they are just as quick to stick a knife in the back of any who seek to stop them. The Smugglers’ true motives and location are unknown. Are you brave enough to venture into the sewers and discover what they’re plotting?
The Boggan
The miners in Fingal’s Cave tell tales of the Boggan, a race of ancient cave dwelling creatures. Rumours abound that they have emerged from the newly discovered tunnels to attack any who dare tread in their sacred subterranean domain. As if the Boggan weren’t enough, the miners also speak of fearsome reptilian Warbeasts. These scaly foes guard the Boggan’s territory, deep in the Carrowmore Tunnels, and set upon any adventurers who approach them. Those who seek fame and glory in the tunnels will first have to fight their way past these deadly denizens of the deep.
The Trolls
Legends tell of the Carrowmore Tunnels, a winding network of caverns beneath Lir’s Reach, where – in the very deepest, darkest caves – Trolls are said to dwell. With terrible strength only matched by their hunger for the flesh of adventurers, these monstrous beasts wield clubs the size of tree trunks and can smash a skull in a single blow. Even the vicious Firbolg, who share the tunnels with these brutes, scatter and flee when a Troll is on the warpath. Are you strong enough to stand against them?

Dragon Armor (4th Warden Upgrade) : (confirmed in V4)
Incoming Modification of Gameplay :
Target Lock (AKA the camping-Lock) : (confirmed in V4)
Basic principle : Whoever (a single player or a group) first attack a mob and does enough damage to engage the lock on a mob/boss... will get the drops and the xp. Only condition : not beeing wiped out.
The first person to hit the mob will lock it to their group - there will be a visible indicator above the enemy showing that the enemy is locked to them. When the enemy dies, the loot goes to the group that has the lock regardless of who did the most damage to the enemy. If the enemy resets because the attacking group wipes out or the enemy dies, the lock is removed. If the group attacking the enemy wipes and other groups are also fighting the enemy, the group that wipes will lose the lock and it will transfer to the group that has done the most damage to the enemy.
For people who like competition, you or your group need to do a % of initial damage to create the lock which keeps the current ffa feeling, and there is now a new dimension of wanting to begin a battle earlier than previously to obtain an initial lock which adds more excitement to the ffa element a...
Just imagine a group of poor levels 80 dreaming to do a Falgren's fight like in the old days without any high levelers involved... to succeed their endeavour they will both need to camp on site and the most important, to do to Falgren very fast and enough damage, before an evil high level 180 run on site and also try to lock Falgren before them !!! => Dramas 100% garanted lololol, already many tears have been shed on the forum and that's just the beginning... (This will be the achievement of Celtic Campers)The lock works the same as the current system, the first group to reach the required lock damage (currently aimed at 20-25%) would get the lock regardless of when they engaged the enemy. Once the lock is engaged the enemies name will change to a new colour for the group that has the lock(blue in our current build) and gray for all other players.
Ability to abandon Quests : (unconfirmed release date yet)
Admin announced it many times before V3, and Wulver confirmed in this thread it won't be released in V4. let's just hope it will be in V6.
New skills : (confirmed in V4)
Apparently new skills are confirmed to be in V4, if players have more infos or hint about them let me know.
Apparently many new weapon skills will be added, someone heard about a weapon skill healing players around. But will these skills added to any of our weapon, purchased from special weapon in lux, implemented for the dragon armor new weapon upgrade... Or simply added to new useless weapon droping randomly and most of the time just good for garbage ??? No one knows yet.
New Mail System against scamming issues : (confirmed in V4)
Main purpose : prevent scamming issues.
Basic Principle : You will be able to send to a friend or to an alt up to 5 items / stamp. You need a stamp to send a message, and stamps will be sold 10 gold. The other person can retrieve the items any time in the next few weeks after the item has been sent. If the items are not received after a few weeks they are automatically returned to the sending player. Blocked player confirmed won't be able yo send items.
More hotslot bar pages : (unconfirmed release date yet)
Would enable a player to add more links to items or potions in their backpacks. Presently only three whole pages of hot slots can be purchased from the plat shop only. Really no reason for such limitation.
Ability to play two alts from the same acc on two different devices : (very umprobable)
Ability to splitting alts from a same account to different accounts : (unconfirmed release date yet)
Ability to transfer Servers : (unconfirmed release date yet)
Something asked from many players (you can bet mostly scammers), but may be a good idea to one day be able to confront some of the people we know after quite some time on this forum ! lol Apparently admins may consider the transfer of your toon, but not to his items in order to keep untouched the server economies.

- Will there be a new Lux shop in V4 or maybe later in V6 ?
- Will there be a new kind of rejen ammy ?
- How much will be these new items ? (Rumors talk about 2 millions gold /item)

- How will crafting works ? through crafting quests, through equiped new skills, or through crafters ?
- Will we be able to upgrade/customise our weapons and armors ?
=> Still no infos about how it will be implementing, but what is sure this is coming and many players are packing up tons of potential crafting items.
Trading / Auctions Houses : (confirmed in V6)
- Will Auctions be limited to trades between players from a same server to preserve its economy ?Hey there, We are making a trading system to go in after the crafting is implemented as that will be a good time to add it in.Thanks!
- Will players be able to deposit their items freely and trade / sell without any limitations ?

Clan Management - Will chieftain and generals be able to access the history of the invite and dismiss logs ?
Clan Titles - Will more Clan titles be added ?

Incoming Bugs Correction :
Haste glitch : (Unconfirmed correction date yet)
Boring glitch making you appear on your screen striking at your enemies slower than you should. Bring out many problems while leveling and suspected to be decreasing the damages done by players to ennemies. OTM told us they will look into it and that is probably just made on purpose to save server datas, so just a visual glitch. Whatever its purpose, sneakily decreasing the players damages or really saving datas... This glitch is a pain in the ass and it is not normal that a player visual speed is reduced simply because you decide for example to equip a bloodlust helmet. The only solution currently is to unequip you main hand weapon and to re-equip it. (and my advice you better do it to be sure to deal the correct amounts of damage and not beeing cheated)

Would you like somedays knowing how many HP, resistances, attack, defense, damages can do your ingame ennemies like in every single MMO out there ? OTM pretend the non disclosure infos, to make this game closer to reality. But every oldtimers in CH very well knows OTM modified countless times the stats of the mobs and bosses... This is all but transparent.

What want players is to be able to accuratly calculate how many mobs we need to kill to level up. Yes we would like to keep the two xp bars, but also a 39456000/4000000 somewhere.
