Things of late have become awkward for mage im getting way to many evades
Like take for example 1 star grimwall golem
5 evades in 1 fight
I seem to average about 2 per fight
Build is 50 dex 200 vit rest in focus
My ice and fire abilitys r maxed 1270 on both
So why so many evades
I recently rebirthed from 200 vit rest focus but evades were just as bad ive added some dex in hope it would make a difference but it hasn't
Anyone else noticing this or am i just unluckiest mage on server

Your fire and ice ability and level directly effect this. You should try to get aggy book and brace i possible and a flame ring royal you should notice alot of difference but in all onesty 2 skills per kill isnt that bad. Im guessing it takes you like 8 skills to kill?? So thats 80% chance of hitting i wouldnt be moaning at that.

This is true but this Is happening to high lvls aswell I get evaded far to much. And with 2200+ ice ability 1700+ fire ability.

Trouble is 8 hits takes thirty secs and if you miss 2 as a mage your dead not a big deal for ranger and rogue who can nearly afk auto it and some can afk it hardly class balance when your hits r doing 50% of what they should and your missing any where from 2-5 times in a fight with something of similer level

Not really a rogues auto will miss more the like 20% of time so consider yourself lucky. Alot of mages have well over 2000 fire majic or ice and will miss much less your just not at that point yet. Simple

False info Brookie - I notice no difference whatsoever from fire and ice skill.

I havent heard of this theory if abilities and lvls affecting evades i did see a theory how ur own evade affects how often a mob will evade cant be sure if its true or not.

The grims r same or lower level than me an like i said my fire and ice r maxed when your hitting for 1000 ish and it misses its a long long cooldown and its a 1000 ish on a good hit usually much lower
If my ability is maxed I'd expect to hit 100% of mobs my level not 60-80% of the time

I was waiting for someone to post something about this. I am lvl 150 and it evades a lott. I use max shard, bolt and firestorm and it misses 2-3 times in a row on all 3 spells. Firebolt evades 5-6 times in a row! Some of my friends told me i'm lucky they have experienced bolt evading 7-8 times at lvl 150+. Romour was a patch did that?
