Farming for profit or misery?

When ever i venture out of ow to help people with quests in sv i get spammed with requests to get into group i always try to get as many in as possible to complete quests i know who just sells drops so they don't get in etc
However recently ive noticed that 150+ players r farming things such as fellfire they let noone in group and they r selling drops
Is this really the sort of example you want to be setting in your world?
I think maybe its time for a change to drop system so that you have to have it as an open quest to get drop or have a leel restriction of say + or - 20 levels of the boss to get a drop
I have personally witnessed a noob shouting for help in ow for help with a boss and i have grouped him turned up to help and find a 150+ player who will neither group me or the noob
And i have children who play on my server who have experienced the same sort of actions from same player on spirehoof and spellwisp

Its honestly so damn stupid. People in my server dont give a chance to lower levels. Why would a level 150 wan with a sun disc? Sell it for 2k? Its practically saying HaHa you low levels cant do sh*t when we kill bosses. People need to be nice and generous to EVERYONE. Its not just drops for you lvl 150+. Its for everyone and hogging them just means people make the wrong decision and get quartz. I know someone very nice and generous, USMC in my world Sulis is currently letting me borrow his diamond cuirass and greaves. You cant have everythig high levels, gotta give people a chance to experience things, not just buy drops from you all the time. But really, you want 2k drop from fell? Nuh-uh. Let people try.

This is why the greedy high level are complaining about target lock
'Holt sh*t i just realised i cant ks a lower level group who takes half an hour to kill fellfire!'

Maybe i am the weirdest player but i don't really camp for profit or farm for it much. I seldom go to Falgren and if i do i give the dragon away free. I give away other things because for me it is not needed. Don't charge for pages, skills i come across and give rings if i have them. I don't boss fight as much because people would argue if there were 2 groups there. I use to go to like Fellfire and tell everyone group up i will log very end. This way 8 can get the quest and chance at a sun or whatever.U get one idiot coming along who asks is there room and i say yes join them.Once in goes Is she ksing or don't ks!! Yes because i am in need of a moon disc ( sarcasm). Once i logged for a group very very end on Starspell came back entire group dead.I kill the Tempest cloud give out wands,I give out items needed for armor because if it betters a players gear why not.I try to help others on Ragnor and 3 times automatically assumed i will ks. One who didn't even know i don't go around ksing says to me.'If your going to ks me just kill me before the spawn, I know how u high lvls are".So i just wanna say not every low lvl is a 'noob'and not every high lvl are 'greedy'.I do see a lot of greed but one thing they need to remember is they were low once too.I have come across some really mean lower who automatically assume I must be greedy. So if i do get an item or try to look out for one it is usually for a friend or i choose someone random.

I give thanks to 5 of my favorite players who were always unselfish and generous. 4 of which haven't played in a very long time.RougeRampage, Lunesta, Zenoid, Luva, Infini

Indeed a very good point made and i totally agree with ya, i mean ok, u want to farm bosses? go ahead but least dont end up soloing them, i mean the game is impossible for the players who play in stonevale.... people should have a bit of humility
