Ok it bothers me that all the stronger players are usually the ones who put alot of money into the game while players who may have more skills in the game are left crippled due to this. Do you guys think this is a wealth based game or a skill based game?

The people who pay for this game to survive as a free game and help it develop should get an advantage . It just so happens tht half the time the ones serious enough to pay to support the game are skilled

Usually this game is more about skills and every step is taking is more about group avalaibilty then personal skills , a few classes do benefit from wealth when you buys sigils ( for combat) while other classes can't ,

but over all classes have used elixirs the count as wealth ( even if you buy the elixirs off somebody ) and the game is fund it true players willing to use elixirs . So you can be good on you own skills but if a group is not present you can't do nothing no even train .

Just speculating. If you are lvl 150 atm to reach 200 been in the low end of. 10 elixirs per level Thats. 500 elixirs Thats around $200 platinum at current pricin per players to reach the level from 150 at minimun elixir use thats to cut time by 300% .... You grind for 21/2 hrs to level up or 10 hrs without elixirs in not place you see skills....

So what you are saying is people should continue to work for years not earning a living? If you enjoy the game, buy some plat or buy some idols or lixs. You don't have to only buy plat to support the game. I have no problem paying for a game I like to play. I have played games in the past that limit the time your could play a month (Innetwork) to playing ffxi on my ps2 and computer for about 15 bucks a month. I dont expect to get something for nothing. If you play even 30 minutes a day, dont you think that is worth something? I know many players that have never bought plat, but they buy lixs and other plat items from others that still gets OTM money in the long run.

Old players use to call cheaters to players who did used elixirs to fast level back in the beginning of this game , nobody complaint about potions, idols but if you back on v1 ( exp pots) or v2 elixirs below 85 was cheating. Good old days.

It's a wealth game. There is a huge difference between someone with unlimited platinum and someone with none.

:) it's a expensive game just to level up because you can't do it on your own , i mean for new player to reach 150-200 will be close to $500 on platinum just for elixirs ... And I am saying elixirs only and regardless if you buy it off some one else or you buy with your own money.

Give me a break guys, I just bought 300 lix for update purely with gold and still have 4 million. Don't make multiple alts and you'll be amazed how much gold you accumulate. Elixirs are incredibly cheap for what they give you.

No, you do not have to buy plat to succeed in this game at all. I would say the minimum needed would be to purchase a hotbar slot and backpack space. The rest you can handle with gold.
