Afk Farming?

I read something about afk farming on this game. I was wondering how do you do this? c:

It could be done back in version 2 of the game.
It was annoying and troublesome.
Version 3 added a timer, so real afk farming can thankfully no longer be done.

I hated AFK farming. Crookback Cave was never empty, and you could hardly get any quests done because there were always people camping the spots where the mobs you needed to kill were.

same with dustwither. there were always a bunch of high levels just standing and killing all the mobs.

It's no longer possible, due to the game logging you out whenever you close the screen, as well as the implementation of a 5 (or 10? I forget 
) minute auto-logger, which logs you out if you do not respond ingame within the set amount of time.
...basically, you can't AFK anymore.

It was absolutely terrible.
A high level on each and every skeleton.
My worst memory was having to wait 3 days to finish the Hagvar quest, because some idiot level 72 was stood right on the Hairy spawn spot and killed him 60% in one swing.
He must have had over 1000 Hairy heads by the time he came back to play

lols afk was great and hekped get gold for the super awsome redclaw armour (best armour in u2) then u could lvl up to 50 farm more gold for patch to buy the ancient plate armour. thats what i did and i got sad when they took it away.

Update there was warden, met and ancient im pretty sure. Lol

The armor was pretty cool and afk sucked if you didnt have regens or sigils so for poor noobs like me it was horrible have high levels camp cata for hours on end

I used to camp on jotun warbringers lol. I just loved it and I saw many noobs doing it well, for exemple lvl 30s at skullcrushers. Removing it pissed me, it was very fun to wake up with 120 items in my backpack and run to the shop in front of tavern lol!
