For me, bless gives about 1400 to all evasions at lvl 40. That seems like a ton to me since my evasions are about 400 each on average, lol. But when cast on a tank or others i have a really hard time telling if it does anything at all. Anyone notice any difference?
Does anyone know the math behind evasions? I know its really complicated by the level of the mob versus me. Considering the same mob level do you think its a simple percentage? For example, 1400 would be 14% evasions??
Thanks for your thoughts.
Re: Bless spell (and how do evasions work?)
#2It increases the chance for evasions, but it doesn't really totally mean evading EVERYTHING.
It's hard to tell the difference though, I don't really recommend bless.

Re: Bless spell (and how do evasions work?)
#3Evasions are so random that they suck imo. Sure its amazing when u evade a 1-3k skill it thats awesome but when u have nearly 3-4k physical evasion due to enduring guard and u still dont evade that sucks. If they up the chance to evade this would be awesome but until then its just so random its hard to tell the effectiveness of the skill.
Re: Bless spell (and how do evasions work?)
#4well its like attack and defense I'd assume, if the evasion is the same as the ability level then their would be a 50% chance to evade. Monsters probably have 10 ability per level, so a lvl 120 would have 1200, therefore you would need 1200 evasion to evade 50% of the time.
I don't know if anyone has really calculated it specifically yet, but like attack and defense you have to be dueling to get data.

Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?

Re: Bless spell (and how do evasions work?)
#5It is 10 ability per lvl but it takes 2 points of ability for 1 point of evasion so a lvl 120 should have a max of 600 if it goes by the same rate as players do. If this the case doubling ur evasion should allow u to evade 100% so golems should never hit me with skill hits while i use enduring guard but this isnt the case sometimes i can be hit for every cast during the buff other times i evade 2-3 but it seems no different with the buff and without.well its like attack and defense I'd assume, if the evasion is the same as the ability level then their would be a 50% chance to evade. Re: Bless spell (and how do evasions work?)
#6I would love an official response on this, particularly is it possible to evade a mob skill 100% of the time and if so what figure would that be(even if insanely high or if it just increases a % chance to evade.
I would love more transparency with this as there is a +650 skill evasion brace in the 150 lux shop and would love to understand how much of an impact that would have on evading skill hits from a 4 star troll or shambling hulk in a % maybe![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Bless spell (and how do evasions work?)
#7From the responses it looks like we all want to know. As I was hinting at, I suspect bless is bugged. Yes it does show increased evasions in the abilities tab, but doesn't seem to actually do that... Any chance this could be checked out by admin/OTM?
Thanks
