I used over 500, probably nearing 600 (works out to 20-24k plat), all bought with in-game gold.

Best gold prize: 10k
Best platinum prize: 330
Not even 1 Staff (a clanny got 4 staffs in about 200 chests)
3 Bard's Lute's

1 of my clannies opened probably 1/10th of the amount of chests that i did and got a 50% camo broom.. Another did the same and got the 2mil gold prize.

Fair to say I have the entrancing luck possible, but was still kinda fun opening them.

lachie got the bard lute on his first chest and the 4k plat prize... whats the best i got? 15k gold, and 330 plat. my best prizes... i opened about 40 chests. half of them i got just sigils.

I opened about 300 chests and the best i got was

100k gold
1k plat
The %10 camo dragonstaff
1 lute
And a ton of plat items
