Does gaining levels make u better but weaker?

I thought target lock was cool at first because it stopped ksing but.... It did not.
I have been camping that hatchling level 75 and level 50-100 noobs are camping at the same time but when it spawns i do sneaky attack which is 49/35 and hit 4500 on it. Then i auto 800-1000s on it but a level 80 noob hits it 3 times and gets lock WTF!!?!? The only way for me to get it is to bring my noob mage and keep him grouped so i get lock.

Another example is Aggragoth
We had a group of 8 175+ dps fighting for Aggragoth with all top gear against a 140-160 damage group with low dps equipment and they get lock because we are overleveled?
I mean target lock is cool but it should be based on dps because i am soooo tired of losing bosses because i am a high level which makes no sense.

Essentially the more levels your clan gets the less powerful they get which is like a math problem that is backwards like 5+3=2 !?!?

As for the 75 dragon, its ur fault for losing every time. You have your high lvl event bosses, they have theirs. And for Aggragoth, itd be expectable to have lots of aggy gear by then. If not, you missed your chance as those 140-160's are having theirs. Rest my case.

As for the 75 dragon, its ur fault for losing every time. You have your high lvl event bosses, they have theirs. And for Aggragoth, itd be expectable to have lots of aggy gear by then. If not, you missed your chance as those 140-160's are having theirs. Rest my case.
I agree with Frost here, there can't possibly be any reason a lvl 177 with two alts 100+ will have any interest whatsoever in a lvl 75 boss who drops horrible stuff (relatively). Target lock is made so lower lvls can have a chance, and this seems to be what is happenening, ive seen it on Sulis before, theres sometimes high lvls (170ish) camping the 75 dragon, there are also some lvl 80-100s from different clans who get together to kill it, the dragon spawns, and the high lvl immediatly starts whaleing out damage while the low lvls are trying their best, half the time the low lvls get lock, then the high lvl just stops and watches them die so he can finish it. But at least the low levels have a chance to kill it, which is what i think OTM is trying to do.

My point is, there is no reason why a lvl 177 would want a ring that gives 100 hp or energy, or a charm for 10 damage. Stick around the 125/175 dragons and leave at least the 75 for the low players.

I am a collector and also trying to get a firebolt and touch charm for my alts there is no harm in that i even let the noobs in group it just makes me mad when they hit it once and get lock-.-
I see what you mean. Sorry, i had the impression you were like some of the high lvls on my server who just kill it and leave, not grouping anyone.

From the place i am currently, (lvl 135), i kinda see both sides of the arguement, the low lvls want to kill bosses for quests, (ow bosses), or drops, (stonevale bosses and met bosses). While the high lvls are trying to kill them as well, either they need em for alts, or they kill to sell to low lvls (which is kind of unfair, but I won't get into that subject). Not everyone gets what they want, several times ive lost bosses i need due to high lvls killing, but ive also lost bosses because low lvls get there first and wont group me. (I dont compete for lock with lower lvls unless I really need em).
