I'm not sure how X-Code(IOS Scripting Language) works, but I do know a bit of Java.
A Java integer can go up to 2.147,483,647.
I would assume the same may be applied here...
EDIT: Confirmed, the highest integer is 2,147,483,647 in X-Code.

Well in other iOS games i've had easily 900 trillion $/gold, so I would figure that they can go pretty far up. It's just most of them after a time wont have the number displayed like: 106,381,282,284,381 gold........... It would be more like: 106 trillion to keep it shorter as to not take up too much of the screen.
