You can conserve your battery by yourself by doing things from turning your lighting low to deleting all apps on the recent bar thing

Here is what helped me:
Uncheck everything in spotlight search
Lower brightness
After doing those, my battery run out in 2 and a half hours.

Things that help increase life are:

Lowering brightness
Deleting all recent apps from the multitasking menu
AND DONT PLUG IT IN AND PLAY! Kills battery life very quickly (if it used to go 3 hrs before you plugged in and played once, its prob 2 hours 45 mins now) approx

i guess thats it lol, but this game is a real battery killer. my device goes 3 hours of this game, but like 8-10 hours of normal use.

on my iPod it is on, Settings<General<Home Button<Spotlight search and then uncheck all of them. So if you uncheck music, it won't show on the iPod search menu.

Spotlight search: It is a tool that is used to search through contacts, music, videos, e-mails, apps etc. It can be accessed at the home screen, swiping left to right.
