if you chose a stupid name you should be stuck with it.

One, because frankly, you deserve it. Should have thought of that before hand.

Two, most importantly, being able to change your name is a golden gift for scammers and others with a bad reputation. You shouldn't be able to wash that away by spending a few platinum.

i have bad reputation in Sulis(im Chace111-warrior lvl 47) and i want to change my name too cos i do not anything wrong and everyones hate me!!!

No, but it is an honest one.

If you want a new name, why not just start over? You can transfer your items and gold to your new character, plus this time around you can avoid mistakes with stats and skills you may have made the first time.

I agree, when some people begin playing Celtic Heroes they usually just want to try it out, when this is the case, they choose a name for ex:Mark889 and before they know it they a high level,love the game, and do not want to restart and thr is completely understandable. As for the scammers, The Admin will obviously be able to track down name changes and still punish the scammer.

How is the blunt truth self-centered??

No game let's you change names, or the only way to do it is to server transfer, make same name on old server, transfer back and hafta change it because of duplicate names. Your name is you are, and yes your reputation and your server history follow thru a name. People block your name, or friend your name, so it's an important and integral part of your character.

It may be possible for an admin to trace name changes, but we have no exact idea how they handle that kind of thing and they would hafta code it for the change to be logged. I know Order & Chaos was not coded this way.

I dont see it as self-centered to give someone an honest response. I see it as gracious, to not baby someone. It's too bad you don't like your name, it's unfortunate, but you have alts and other names to pick from and if yer a good person and kind then who will really care how stupid yer name is. Just deal with it and roll on.
