Etiquette

I have had two people in the last day whom I've never talked to want to just 'try' my lvl 100 lux on a few mobs. One of them wasn't even lvl 100 lol. I accused both of them in game of being scammers and promptly blocked them.

While there are many rules of etiquette asking strangers for expensive items to just try is about the oldest mmo scam there is. I will never ask to just borrow items and will never lend them - I refused to try on a dragon helm for this reason as I did not feel comfortable borrowing it even though it was offered without my asking.

In short (though new people seldom read this forum) please do not ask people you don't even know for this. I will brand you a scammer and not trust that in game name (or will party them or help them) permenantly. A lvl 1 who asks to try my lvl 100 dragon staff will be laughed off with little consequence but if you have a higher lvl account realize this will hurt your reputation to just ask.

+1 Great advice.

By the way.. can I try out your car to see how I look in it? I also would like to try out your credit apples.

And I would love to spend a day in your house while you are shopping. I would also like to use your wallet to see if it makes my butt look fat or not.
Thanks

Also, I'd like to try on your KD's.
I wouldn't let KD try on my KD's.
