I was thinking, this might have already been thought of already. My idea was having druids or anyone with rooting scrolls root the boss and possibly adds if needed, this would allow the tank to use sigils, and as dps use mostly ranged casters such as druids, mages, or rangers then have rogues kill adds. This seemed like a good idea to me but if you see any flaws in my idea or improvements to my idea please comment.

Its a good idea but you would need a hell of a lot of scrolls. Plus instead of rogues kill adds. Let rangers kill adds. Rogues are way better dps then rangers.

Another strat could be

Having a few people with energy harvest maxed at 50. Have them constantly cast that to drain necros energy so he can not keep casting life steal and his AOE.

Then when his adds spawn the tank/s take agro as druids focus on healing and all dps wipe out adds asap but still harvesting his energy.. Dont forget your lures

His a ranged unit .... So no point in rooting when he will still hit all
