new class?

Hi everyone, I don't know about you, but I kind of wish there were one more class to this game. here are a few ideas:

A barbarian warrior guy that has almost no vitality but amazing damage
A guy that throws spears or axes, so a combo of a warrior and a ranger.

Guy that has no vitality but awesome damage,I swear I've heard of something like this somewhere!!!! Oh yea it's called a Rogue. :|

I would like a Thaumaturgist, a la DAOC, DAOC lore is actually directly Celtic Heroes lore, when you think about the source material. But a caster class that summons and controls wisps to fight for them?? Dude how awesome would that be? Plus you could make the captures temporary, like high lvl players could turn wisps on eachother, wound them both and kill them both. Lots of Fire, Cold, Magic resist buffs, group buffs maybe, like speed buffs similar to a EQ Bard, would be a support player but neither a Mage or a Druid

Just would be both Celtic and fun as hell.

A summoner is an awesome idea tea! But I think it would definately have to be tweaked from the conventional version that we seem to see in other games. I don't really have time to elaborate on this right now cause I'm at work, lol but the game already has items like soul orbs and demon stones... Put those to use somehow?

If we are talking DAOC here, I was a huge fan of the animist. Essentially, he was a caster, that could cast little mushroom turrets. They would attack anything around them. In fighting pve, you could use all sorts of tactics to pull bosses into your turret mob and take them down in no time. Pvp was a blast when tricking people into running into your 15 mushroom turrets trap and watching em drop in about 2 seconds. They also had an insanely hard hitting lifetap spell.

Something that required a bit more tactic then run up and hit as much as you can before dying would be an excellent addition to the game.

The reason I brought up DAOC was that both Albion & Hibernia contain Celtic myths.

Albion especially, since the realm was in essence British/Irish, but the Fae aspects of Hibernia were borrowed and skewed a bit. I certainly think you could scam that classic game's classes and make one partially inspired by those mechanics. Animist was an awesome class.

I like the idea but then there will be none to test with bosses or trade with for at least 3 months no trading or bosses will go on with them slowing there lvls ng because the have to get all the money for armor at the shop prices instead of buying it half price

Hey there, rather than add new classes we are most likely going to go down the route of picking specialities for existing classes - we are planing to add new races in future though not just the highlander race which is currently in the game. The game was built to have multiple races we just haven't had time to put them in yet.
