Be patient or don't play. Their current focus is upgrading the graphics engine, not to give you new content at the moment.

I think you missed all the info on the new engine. It is NOT, I repeat, NOT bringing in new content (unless of course you count new graphics as content). All it is doing is updating the looks of most of the game.
